Sporting Schools Today marked the end of my trips out to Oberon on Fridays over the past 2 terms. It was a wonderful experience teaching the whole school in a small space with minimal equipment. The highlight was hearing feedback from a teacher who said that some of their students had never participated in sport.... and this was the first time they had and loved it! It’s amazing how much fun you can have and what fundamental skills you can teach/learn through gymnastics at school.
We hope Aspire can run the program with you again in the future. Thanks!

New Coach ✅ The level ones have been enjoying having a new coach in their class this week.
Ash coached and trained with CSU gymnastics for many years. When Aspire opened in 2015 she moved to Sydney to complete her degree. She now works for Athletics NSW and is keen to get back into her coaching again!
... We are so lucky to have her back and sharing her expertise with us. Make sure you say Hi next time you see her around.

🌼Level 6 State 🌼 A great effort from Aimee today. We are proud of her qualification and her improved scores with consistency across the 4 apparatus.
Well done on your 8.9 floor and 8.8 beam.

🌼Level 5 State/ 12th overall 🌼 An awesome competition from Emma today. We are so proud of her qualifying for state, working extra hard in the lead up and coming away with 4 very nice scores.
She received 9.025 floor (9th) and 9.05 bars . Her beam 8.925 and vault 8.933 just shy of a 9.
... The top score was 37.1 and Emma 35.9!!!

Good Iuck to 2 of our gymnasts who qualified for state 2018. They are both competing tomorrow at Sydney Gymnastics And Aquatic Centre. Enjoy the experience, shine bright and do your absolute best.

KinderGym 1-3yrs This term is all about nursery rhymes. We had great fun with INCY Wincy Spider last week. Crawling down the pipe, object management when sliding icy down the pipes, climbing through the rain, jumping into the puddles and lots more.
Come along and give it a try!

Wow What a Day! Today we had gymnasts from our prelevels and 1-2 classes, attend a friendly competition in Orange. There were over 145 gymnasts entered from Aspire, Central West, Dubbo RSL, Dubbo PCYC, Parkes PCYC and Orange PCYC.
Thank you to the coaches/ judges and our Hawaii gymnasts for making the event run so well. THANKS Orange PCYC for letting us hire the venue and Maddy from CWG for all the organisation involved.
... Amongst all the fun and excitement of competing and receiving a trophy, we raised some funds for our CWG & Aspire Hawaii Team 2019. 😀
