Assemblage Architecture is well established as a leading architectural design practice serving the Sydney, the Northern Beaches and Blue Mountains region of NSW, providing complete design and project management services for both small and large scale residential developments, from medium-density housing projects, to highly detailed multi-level houses.
Established in 1997, under the leadership of respected Sydney architect and design tutor, Peter Chivers (ARN 9135), Assemblage has focused on creating beautiful, well-constructed and thoughtful residential designs which are sensitive to client needs and lifestyle choices, while also being responsive to the landscape, climate and environmental considerations of the site. All projects are characterised by a concern with 'place': the atmosphere evoked by a building’s relationship with its context. Designing with sensitivity to siting allows our buildings to reinforce the quality of intimacy and create points of focus for images, memories and dreams.
All Assemblage projects incorporate principles of passive solar design to maximise energy efficiency, and are built using materials from sustainable sources. Assemblage prides itself on providing its clients with a complete design service, from initial sketch designs, to detailed interiors and bespoke furniture.
