Nice place to spend day with family and and friends. Nice botanic garden. Nice views and good BBQ places. Kids love it and good for walk.

A great find for us considering we have been living in relative vicinity for almost 10 years without knowing about it!
Cute little Japanese gardens that's nicely maintained. The few animals and birds in the fauna area are also look well looked after. The peacocks seemed especially radiant and healthy. The scented garden although really small is also quite nice. And there were roses galore in their part of the garden.
The reflection pool was a bit sad looking with murky water and some algae and rotting leaves.

This place is great during off peak. When there are events, it's hard to find parking, so public transport is the way to go. Last time I parked near a continence store, and the owner came out to tell me to move my car because he thinks the space is designated for his customers. The garden is well maintained, just a few dollars for entry fee, great place to go for a stroll (when not busy)

Its a small Japanese garden with pond, traditional tea house, groomed gardens etc. There's also a small native animal zoo, native plant walk, small rose garden & more. There's a small entry fee. Arrived by bicycle (good cycle path nearby) for the crazy chaos of the Cherry Blossom festival. Seemed to have planted a few more since I was last there. Finally doing a bit of upgrading. There's a free aviary across the road.

The gardens are separate to the Auburn duck trail which is right next to the gardens and is good for running biking picnics has a children's playground the gardens can be booked for weddings there is an entry fee if you are not a local resident ID required

Beautiful gardens. Immaculately maintained. It's great for taking photos. It has a small zoo with native animals and an aviary across the road.

Always love the Botanic Gardens. Great playground and barbecue; we take the kids for a peaceful walk around the gardens before going to see the wallabies and peacocks next door and then a barbecue lunch. One of the best things in Auburn.

User

Really lovely space. We did not have enough time to explore thoroughly but enjoyed the time spent in the Japanese Garden.
It is a beautiful peaceful space with many photo opportunities.

Looking forward to our next visit.

Came in late Autumn. Nice roses, other plant life was average although the place was well maintained. They offered some cool services on the day we went (not sure if it's every Sunday) like face painting and arts and craft for kids, horse & cart tours and had love classical music all for free. There was also an ice cream truck, salvation army sausage sizzle/BBQ and other stalls they had there. Entry was $5 for non-local residents (free entry for residents). There was also some native wildlife (wallabies, kangaroos, emus) there with small tours running. However, the whole area was quite small and you could be finished in 2 hours max.

User

Beautiful, picturesque and exquisitely place with lots of sights to see. Wedding catering available Near the peacock gallery and aviary. Mini zoo next to it and park and massive hills seating area near, too. Lovely!

User

Beautiful park. Spacious and very lovely. Free for locals of auburn otherwise only $4 to see the flora and fauna - other amenities are free

User

Quiet little floral garden adjoining Japanese garden and fauna sanctuary. Great place to visit and relax. In spring they have a 'Sakura Festival' (cherry blossom festival).

User

The Japanese garden was amazing especially with the reflection pool, Anzac memorial and the scented gardens. Look out for some ducks and a few amazing looking peacocks. Plenty of seating to find an escape. $4 entry and kids free. I'd definitely go again. Lovely...
