For the second time, APEG has added the 'Poster Session'. This is where some of the poster presenters will get the opportunity to explain the highlights of their poster on stage during the ASM. Each presenter will get 2 minutes which is a great way to get an overview of the some of the posters.
The session will be held on Monday 30th July at 12.30pm. To register for the conference, simply follow the link: https://bit.ly/2slpVr2
Of course, we still encourage delegates to visit the posters in breaks, as seen in the photo which was taken at the 2017 APEG ASM in Hobart!

Newcastle is one of the most beautiful parts of NSW, having a fantastic mix of ocean, nature and city. The Newcastle Memorial Walk was constructed in 2015 to commemorate the centenary of ANZAC and is just one of many beautiful coastal walks in Newcastle.
The Memorial Walk allows visitors to walk along the cliff tops from Nobby's Beach to Merewether Beach whilst reading of all the names of Newcastle locals who enlisted in World War I.
Definitely on the to-do list while atten...ding the 2018 APEG ASM!

Due to such a high calibre of abstracts submitted this year for the 2017 APEG ASM, the scientific program committee has decided to add it's first ever 'Poster Session' to the program. This is somewhat of a 'quick fire' session where authors will get 2 minutes to talk about their poster. The poster session will directly follow the Young Investigator Presentations on Monday at 12.30pm.
