So rude I had a package to collect and got a text from Aus post saying my item is there to pick up as I went there with the slip the lady looked and said it is not here I showed the text on my phone and said yes it is at this time another worker old lady piped up arguing with me saying your slip said 4 pm an made a big scene over me there earlier a few min later the last returned with my package and I said so it is here and you just had a go at me and you are wrong do u want to apologise she then ignored me customer is right don't be rude just because you are old as the hills no need to snap at young people way to put Cooma on the map for discussing service

Tried calling 5/4/17 Telstra has cut this P O phone line and was then diverted to a personal mobile - why couldn't Telstra have diverted the PO number to a mobile that the Post Office itself could answer ? Modern Technology- gotta love it -

Today Thursday 9th November at around 10:05 am;
As I walked into the post office at Warilla Grove an elderly lady was waiting in line but, didn't know the start of the line was at the front of the counter. So I just told her nicely it's down a bit further. While the two young women were busy putting up a Christmas decorations. One being on a ladder. If these two sales women weren't putting up decorations in business hours they would of seen this poor woman waiting & waiting in line. Because they both had their backs turned away from the front counter.
Then this goes way further. They waited till the elderly lady left the post office then the lady behind the counter asked her co- worker what that was all about? So I stepped in an explained. The woman said to me she's a regular customer she should of known better. That's where I told her. If you's weren't so busy with your backs against the customers you would of seen this for yourselves. Instead your putting up decorations while customers are starting to come in. Then a lady with a pink top just cut in front of this elderly lady and you were Oblivious to what happen and proceed to serve her. Take a look at the footage and management then can see what was happening! Customers come before decorations in any business, and that poor elderly lady might have been a regular customer. But don't talk behind someone's back after their gone. Ask that person what was wrong. This woman that served me started to argue the fact. All up trading needs to be priority in customer service in this post office. 🙁👎

Went to the Queanbeyan post office in January this year to redeem my cheque from Australian post. It was my first time doing it and I wasn't sure what the process was. Giving 2 stars only because the young guy at the counter who first served me was very patient and friendly. But because he was new, he wasn't sure how to process it and had to ask the middle aged female staff next to him for help. She was EXTREMELY rude and kept complaining out loud "why did she write on the back, she isn't supposed to write anything [on the back of the cheque]", as if I wasn't standing right in front of her. Very unprofessional and terribly condescending, I'm sorry I had done the wrong thing but your response was absolutely inappropriate and rude.

I am very surprised to see a number of negative reviews for this Post Shop. I have been a customer there, and at the previous premises, for 15 years and have always found the staff to be courteous, helpful and friendly. Yes it can get very busy but at those times there seems to be a full complement of staff on, so wait times are really not too bad.

Didn't have the money exchange open - pursuant to the website stating that they're open on Saturdays. Woman was extremely rude saying they're not open and left me standing there for 5 minutes before they said anything. The booth was open also - if they're closed they should shut the booth like it normally is.

Also a bit of a joke that it's not open on Saturdays - definitely used to be and there is no other place for those that work 9-5 to exchange money in Queanbeyan.

Very rude staff. One woman in particular was rude to me for not knowing you can not post particular items. Several times I have been spoken to rudely at this post office by the women there. Its a shame because there is also kind, polite staff there.

I got my passport photo done here to get a phone call 3 weeks prior to me going over seas also 3 weeks after I've sent away for my passport saying my photo is to bright in the face if you can't get them right don't do them at all I live 2 hours away from queenbeyan but come up and and get my nephew for the holidays so I will be up soon to get my refund !!!

Customer service? Not in this place. The guy working here is friendly (sometimes) but soooo slow and can be a real retard from time to time. Does the woman working here ever smiles in here life? She is possibly the worst human being I've encountered who's working in a service job.
Also the shops configuration makes for a weird waiting line meandering through the shop and confuses a new customer as to where the start of the line might be.

Twice now I have had a card put in my letter box to pick up a parcel I missed but the guy at Bondi Rd aus post said it wasn't there after 'looking' I work during the day from 830-5 so I can't make the opening hours during the week, I'm not really sure how I am meant to get a parcel especially when I go in on a Saturday with a card and I'm told "it's not there and it just means it's arriving another day"??? Hmm

Only open 9-5 weekdays whilst most people are at work and for 3 hours at a weekend where the queue will take half an hour or longer.

If we're not in when our post is delivered we have no option but to go here. Pull yourself into the 21st century Australia Post!

The staff here have no understanding of customer service. Unfortunately this is our closest post office and are mail gets re-directed here. They never answer there phone and make the whole experience awful and difficult for their own power trips.

My main issue is that the delivery drivers just drop the 'no one was home card' in the letterbox... Every single time. Even though if they opened the gate (no lock, no dogs) at 7am when they deliver they would see an open back door. And a house full of people getting ready for work. Sometimes they don't even bother with the card.
When I brought it up with a staff member she asked if I had security cameras... Ridiculous .

I moved into the area 6 months ago. We have constant trouble with our parcels. EG. I was left a card dated 29 April and they told me my wife picked it up 23 April, despite it requiring my signature??
The people at the counter look seriously depressed and unhappy with their jobs. They are a perfect advertisement for privatisation of the post office.

Really bad service I went there to return a parcel but, I couldn't print my label at home so I thought could print it there (like in any other post office around the world) but the attendant told me they don't do that so I couldn't send it, when I got back home I recive an email.... Saying "You can print your return label at a post office" It seems like they just don't wanted to help me.

I stayed home to wait for an important package to be delivered. Apparently the delivery guy apparently couldn't be bothered, so instead automatically left a 'You have a parcel' slip clearly advising that my package was now waiting at Pyrmont Post Office - annoying however tolerable.
Once I arrived at the Pyrmont post office (as directed by the slip), they stated that they had no room in their storage area so they sent it to Kingsgrove Post Office (40 minutes drive away).
Well done Australia Post and their Pyrmont franchise. You have both famously failed at your one output!

I work around the corner and have been coming to this post office for almost 4 years. I have used almost every service they offer from passport applications to parcel delivery. The staff are always helpful and patient.

It's generally an okay post office, Jin is very helpful and goes out of his way to help you to find the postage solution you need.

I dread getting assisted by the owner/manager as he will often gouge you for whatever he can and not offer any helpful solutions. He often doesn't know what he's talking about either, which I have seen on a number of occasions with people in the line. They once rejected a parcel for being too large and sent me on a long chase.

Definitely not the best post office and only redeemed by one person who works there. Would be nice if the post office serving the most populated suburb in Australia was at least half decent. A real shame.

Extend your opening hours to 17:30 weekdays and open on a Saturday morning!
Have no problem, at all, with the team that work there. Might even be nice to deal with them a little more, if only i got a chance to get in the doors before they close.

I wouldn't even rate this place a one star. The service was rude, arrogant and non complaisant- and this is coming from the branch manager Jeung. There has been a couple of feedback here for Jeung and I didn't think he would be that bad- I was proven wrong. Due to an unresolved issue I asked for his name so I can come back to see him- his response was" you write my name down you have hands"!

If this is the type of service Australia Post approve for their Franchises, no wonder the level (or lack off) service has gone down the drain.

If i ever have a choice I would never use this branch again.

They tried to hide behind 'Startrack' policy as to the reason why my Driver's License wasn't a valid from of ID to receive my package, and said I had to come back with a Passport. The manager was so rude and unhelpful, and didn't even bother to be sympathetic or apologise.

Asked best way to send important documents to U.K. Totally gave me the wrong information and now the document is lost !! Even Post Office head office said they don't know what they are doing !!! The staff on the floor are attentive and well-mannered, you will almost always be greeted and asked if you need assitance. I do feel as though they are under a lot of stress which may be due to under-staffing, this comes out in their conversations. Despite this I have always achieved what I needed to do here and would recommend it as a good CBD post office.

I had to buy international stamps. The walk a round attendant ask what I needed. I told her 20 international postcard stamps. She got them feed money into machine and I was done. Less than 10 minutes

I almost always go here just to collect parcels. The technology available for this service is over 100 years old. The staff is friendly enough if you're willing to wait in line for 15 - 45 minutes for the most basic requirement. Its only available to people about 45 / 168 hours per week like we're still in the middle ages or something.

Every time I go to this post office I almost always end up having to pay more than I should.
Staffs are extremely unfriendly and always give you that “hey you need to PAY for THIS AND THAT” look. At least you can give some nice etiquette such as “Oh I’m sorry that this may have not explained really clear but I’ll definitely help you by ...”??

North Sydney Post office is the WORST post office in the state. They are incredibly slow and just watch people standing in line.
There are always massive queues, which they don't seem to mind.
There appears to be excess staff out the back who do not come out to serve.
Seeing they are a central Post office for North Sydney business hub, one would assume that they would have more than 3 staff on!!!
One guy wanders around the floor and asks if he can help people, but he asks people at the back of the queue. If he cant help anyone, rather than going behind the counter to serve, he just wanders around.
Seriously North Sydney Post office, you need to get your act together. I hate going into your office as it is So disorganised. I am happy to chat with anyone in North Sydney Post office about my concerns should they like to liase with me.

The first picture on this location is not the actual post office. It's a listed building that has Post Office written on the side. The actual post office is further up Pitt Street.

Like most post offices, this place is full of staff that have their heads all screwed on backwards.
I hate having to deal with cross-counter menials and their bumbling attempts at service and any mechanical device that avails itself for my use and enables me to avoid lower life-form interaction is a godsend, so the self-help machines are perhaps the best idea the post office has ever had. Unfortunately, the bottom feeding cretins love to limit the machines capabilities for some reason, so when I went in there to try and weigh a package to send off, some bespectacled skeleton looking loser wanted to jump in and give me advice that I didn't ask for and felt was unwarranted. He then went and told some other loser with a bulbous bobble head and an accent so thick I had no idea what he was on about, but apparently I'm not allowed to use the machines if a package is over a certain weight, even though there are no signs saying such and I'm not sure how you can guess the weight of a box from a distance anyway.
To make matters worse, I was forced to waste my time waiting in line so the box can be weighed by yet a third loser, only to have the cost of the package end up EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE PRICE GIVEN TO ME BY THE MACHINE!!
Way to unnecessarily waste my time for no reason Australia Post. Way to also infuriate me for forcing me to deal with epic sponge-heads that aren't fit to wipe a lepers ass! You're all idiots!

Empty in the morning, staff were eager to help. In and out in 5 minutes. With the refurbishment, the entrance to the plaza can be difficult to find.

Incredibly difficult to find. There is a sign outside saying that all parcel deliveries are in Sydney Central, without any indication of where that is. I have had to call Australia Post to find out, and will now have to make repeat trip to this address to try to find where it is located in some kind of arcade. If I could give this shop and Australia Post less than one star in this review I would, however unfortunately the lowest review I can give is one star. Very poor, unclear communication.

1 of the staff is really quite rude. I received 8 letters on my mail box with different names and addresses. After work on that same day that I received the letters, I returned it to this post office cause I am a little bit concerned with some letters that are labeled as urgent. I tried to talk nicely to one of the staff on how to return those letters.

However, with my dismay I was just been directed by the staff with her flat affect face and unhappy verbal response to write "wrong delivery" on the letter and put it on mail box.

I would really want to talk whoever is the manager on that time for them to remind staff delivering mails/letters to do it accordingly to one's address. However, I wasn't been given the opportunity by the staff.

Looking at the other reviews I thought I would put my two cents in. This is my local post office and since I've been going there they couldn't be more helpful. From my parcel collect to just recently getting my Passport renewed they've been a great help. Even to the extent of calling me when I had incorrectly filled out a form, and they helped me sort it out over the phone. (Thanks Mary). Keep up the good work guys!

I came back the next day, form correctly printed, and she wrongly told me not to write my name on the passport photos - you have to do this. After a five minute debate she said I had to do it all again. I rang the passport office to double check and I was right. You have to print your name on the photo. Absolute nightmare. Went to another post office and it was all sorted in about 2 mins.

I've been on hold for 58min so far with no indication of when or if a call will be answered. Why am I calling ... because Australia Post doesn't send notifications when a mail arrives to PO Boxes anymore. It appears an international package will now be returned because no notification has been received. Serious customer service fail Australia Post.

There is always a long line at the PO. They really need to invest in staff that are efficient or increase their counter capacity. Staff are mixed bag; you may get someone who is friendly or the rudest person you could ever meet.

Indian lady was very rude and shouted at me for no fault of mine. I had given my work address as the delivery address for a parcel, but the parcel was delivered at the Aus Post office. When I went there to collect my parcel, she asked me for the delivery address and I gave them my work address (as given to the website when ordering the items). They had trouble locating the parcel because one line of the address (the street number/name) had been omitted by the sender. Instead it had the address of the Post Office! She gave me dressing down how I had wasted their time by giving them an incorrect address. It was not my fault that the sender had missed out that detail and I had no way of knowing since I had never had any issues in the past with this company's delivery.

Whenever I have a parcel to be delivered it is never delivered to my place and I have to go to the post office every time.
This morning I received a text asking how I would prefer to collect the parcel and I was suprised. I thought the services have improved. I chose delivery in person and someone will be home. If I could give this post office zero stars, I would. I order items online so they can be delivered to my apartment, not so I can pick them up at the post office. They have not ONCE delivered a package to my door and I am always home. They NEVER leave package slips in the mailbox and give me an attitude when I say they didn't leave one. Today, I received the most horrendous customer service from the older white woman. She said my package was not at the post office and did not even bother to ask for tracking information. When I asked her to check she smirked and said she had checked "very well". Her tone was condescending and disgusting. When I asked her for her name she refused to give it to me and I had to ask another employee to help me. Of course, the package was there but she had not bothered to check correctly. I have repeatedly not received letters I was expecting in the mail. Recently, I was told an outstanding bill (that I never received notice of) was going into debt collection because I had not paid it. It's really no wonder this place is getting bad reviews. when the lady who checks the parcels clearly doesn't care, received a text that i MISSED my parcel (which never came to my house) and need to collect. I got their and the lady who does the parcels said she never sent a text and that I'm lying. after the boss comes down and looks at the text (she refused to look). who might i add looks like he wants to get out (another reason why this place is so bad). and i finally received the package. when i asked if they stopped sending out the parcels he said they did. which is total bullshit as no one has run the doorbell since in the last 4 days.

This is all on top of a express delivery (which was never delivered) which took 4 days which was estimated at overnight.

Lets face it, leaving a review for any post office is probably a massive waste of time, considering Australia Post set the bar pretty low across the board for service and price, but this particular post office really takes the cake.

I, unfortunately, work close by this post office, and due to a long history of lost items and horrendous customer service, generally only go there if I absolutely must get something posted asap.

Today I was greeted with the usual... nothing. Standing in a line of me, myself and I, waiting politely to be acknowledged and move towards the counter, I waited a good 4 minutes while the staff discussed 'packing boxes with Frank' before taking the initiative and walking myself up to the counter to get served.

I was greeted with the usual cranky-face from Badly-Dyed-Orange-Hair, while the other staff member continued on with the 'packing boxes with Frank' conversation.

I handed over my items, and tried to focus on filling out the overseas postage form she'd given me, but was distracted when she asked for my payment, three times, quite loudly and started moving my unsealed, unaddressed postal items over to another counter that was covered in what appeared to be garbage, or recycling.

I advised her I wouldn't be a moment, at which point she 'huffed', cancelled my transaction on her computer screen and reached OVER MY HEAD to serve a newly arrived customer behind me.

It was at that point that I decided that I wasn't going to pay these people. For anything. Ever again. I calmly advised Badly-Dyed-Orange-Hair that due to her complete lack of customer service I had decided to post my item elsewhere, to which she replied "No worries", then grabbed the bottom end of my postal pack, tipped it up and released all of my postal items all over the counter.

Yep. Definitely won't be coming back.

Disgusting customer service from Jozephine. Not only does she move at snail pace but she also on numerous occasions made us feel like we were in the wrong and we made her day a struggle. She gave snarky remarks towards us and the customers around us. When we asked to borrow a pen she complained that it was hers, even though there were a spare 2 sitting in front of her. A system that takes 5 minutes at another post office took Jozephine 35 minutes.
It would be a great idea, but obviously too hard, to put a sign up informing customers who need photos to move to the left register. After waiting 15-20 minutes in a line that was pointless, we were told to move to the side. As if that wasn’t enough, we were told to step aside again so the people behind us could have their photos sorted before us. The service and organisation of this place is terrible and I would highly suggest you drive anywhere else and save yourself a lot of time and a terrible shopping experience.

I placed an order from online shopping merchant. They splited into three parcels. On Thursday I went to post office handed in the card for collection. They gave me two and I was not realised there are actually three split parcels for one order.

After I opened the parcels there are some items are missing that's the time I realised I still have one parcel in post office. I went back there on Saturday, the lady insisted they've got nothing where the tracking shows it's delivered to castle hill postshop. She told me I need to check with StarTrack.

Today is Monday, after spoken with StarTrack, as what it shows on tracking, they suggest one employee from CH post office must have used their scanner to scan the parcel triggered their status as delivered to post office. I can only deal with post office to find out where my parcel is.

See how unprofessional and negligent they are. And I forgot to mention the passport photo they'd taken for my son got return from immigration since it's poor lighting.

Nice local post office. Yes, the lines are long during peak times but it is a small post office serving a popular part of Western Sydney. I have witnessed people arriving at the counter to be served unprepared and not having their paperwork or ID ready. I have also seen people arguing with staff about the terms and conditions that are written on an envelope when their request is refused. This sort of stupidity is what holds everybody up and it is not the post office worker's fault people can't be bothered to read the instructions and terms written on the box or postal bag. PO Box area is easy to access and secure. I have always found sending and picking up parcels from within the post office smooth going.

Every time I visited, the 2 indian male staffs wearing glasses were very rude to me, though I had been polite to them. They are very friendly to white people, not to asians. As a local living in the Forestville area, it is impossible for me to avoid visiting this post office as I need to get my parcels from time to time. I can confidently say that everytime I have visited this post office, I have always experienced terrible customer service. Under the new ownership of Alan, I always leave feeling incredibly furious with his lack of respect for his customers. The first time, I went to take my passport photos. After he had taken the photos, I asked for the photos to be emailed. It was at this point he said in an annoyed tone, "you should have told me before, it takes a long time". By "long time", I think he meant an extra thirty seconds. Why wouldn't you want to make an easy extra $6 for simply emailing some photos? The only reason he actually said this was because there was now a line of customers trailing out the door. It is not my fault that you are greedy and do not want to hire any extra employees to work during peak hours. Hence, you cannot blame me for this line of unserved customers who will have to wait because of you're mistake. The second time, I went to pick up my parcel. As I opened my wallet to get my ID, I was struggling to get out my drivers' licence as it was stuck in a sleeve. Then, Alan laughed condescendingly at my struggle like this was a joke. The third time, I needed to send an express package. Obviously being unhelpful again, as this was my first time sending express mail, Alan said as I asked for his help, "just do whatever you need to do and bring it (the package) back to me". I cannot understand how a salesperson, let alone the owner of the shop, could be so rude to those who actually keep their business alive. For future postage needs, I will definitely not be returning to the Forestville post office. This is just a warning for those who wish to use this post office.

My experience at Avalon Beach Post Office, when trying to lodge a Passport application for my son, was absolutely terrible. The man and woman employed by Australia Post were extremely patronising and unhelpful. The man was aggressive and rude. Not only that, the information they gave me was totally wrong. I actually rang Australian Passport Office and it was confirmed by them that the employees at Australia Post were wrong. His aggressive and rude behaviour upset me enormously and was not something my 16 year old should have experienced. Then I phoned them and the phone just went to fax machine everytime I called! Aus Post Balmain provides basic postal services and retail items, and I've always had positive, friendly interactions with staff. They have hired some new, younger staff members who seem to be trying their hardest. Most negative reviews seem to be for the delivery contractors, who only leave calling cards.

Paid hundreds of dollars for expedited shipping of a package, and yet all the tracking page states is, "Unsuccessful delivery" and "no response". I was at home for two days (when they supposedly attempted delivery) yet I did not see a single postman nor did I receive any calls. Nobody rang the doorbell either. The worst post office I have ever been to. Arrived at 4.15 to get my sons TFN sorted without an appointment. The post office was to close at 5pm but the employee said cannot do it without an appointment in a very abrupt manner. They wanted us to come at 4pm when my son does not even come home after school at that time due to the fact that he has to take public transport. It clearly appeared the people working did not enjoy the job. I recommend the HO to either increase trained staff numbers to handle varying type of work and do something to raise their morale. Unless I have to, I will not go there again.

Received lots of parcel from Australia Post but they gave me a card for collection instead of the parcels most of the time. Understandable that if someone is not home then they can collect their parcel sometime after BUT not when the receiver is home. Wonder if they even knock before giving the card. I was very certain that i was home that day and never hear anyone knocking on the door. Although the post office is 5 minutes away but it is still very inconvenient when i am working most of the time.

This is the second time in a row I have gone here on a Saturday only to find a sign on the door saying that they took the day off for "unforeseen circumstances". Surprisingly, these two consecutive visits were several weeks apart and the experience was the same. The Australia Post website states that they are open on Saturdays until 12:30pm. If you need to call them, you will have to call 13 13 18, which just goes to some random call center. Prior to these two experiences, I found the staff to be extremely cold and unwelcoming. If you intend to go to Mayfield PO on a Saturday, make sure you get there early and have a plan B. If you are using public transport, make sure you have all morning to find another PO before they close.

Our experience was very poor. The shop attendant told our 14 yr old daughter she had to spend a minimum of $20 dollars on an Opal card she needed for a school excursion. She only needed to spend $5 and was left with no money for her excursion. I called the shop and was told it was not their problem despite one of their shop attendants making a child pay money they didn't need to. I was advised to contact OPAL to arrange a transfer of monies to another card. I explained numerous times that the transfer of monies was not needed. The shop attended spoke over me and eventually hung up on me.

Attentive, friendly, caring staff. This has been my regular post office for over a year now and I appreciate the service I receive from the staff. Recently, I had a particularly challenging day and whilst buying stamps and withdrawing money I stuffed up my pin number and was locked out of my banking account. Staff member Amy and the manager Rowan allowed me the space and time to talk to my bank on my mobile (40 min wait time) and rectify the matter so that I could finalise the transactions. Given that I live with Post traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and stressful situations often cause me to flee - the service and kindness these women offered as well as the non-judgemental vibe by other staff enabled me to feel safe and human again.

I claimed a parcel from the Marrickville branch yesterday, 21/4. I had to wait 8 minutes before someone served me. Staff were busy chitchatting while the queue stretched on. When I was finally served, this guy at the far end counter immediately asked me for my ID. Having claimed dozens of parcels before, I understand that this is NOT standard procedure; you usually have to provide your ID AFTER they got the parcel. So I gave him my ID. He then asked me if the parcel was shipped to the address in question, I said yes. For starters, the address was already on the card. He then TOOK my ID together with the parcel notice to the stock room. When he left the counter, I sensed something was wrong, before feeling disgusted later. While he returned with my (now useless) parcel, I found out that he was a TRAINEE. He obviously doesn't know what to do, and I hope they won't go hiring incompetent staff.

As an aside, some staff here can be quite difficult, asking for photo ID. Shouldn't your name and address suffice? After all, not everyone has a license. I NEVER EVER give Google reviews, but when something is this bad, you have to act.

Imagine yourself employed by a business such as Auspost, then try ask yourself questions similar to what some people usually ask Auspost Staff on daily basis. Mate, it's simple no one gets paid enough to face stupidity anywhere on this planet. While you want your parcels to be sent instantly, have you ever considered how much each one of us slack at our own workplaces. If we are asked why, we would answer in one line " I don't get paid much for this sh**"

Auspost staff like all other workplaces, at the time of training, are told the role they have to play during the hours of employment. But people like us make their job inevitably excruciating. We arrive at the shop with expired ID's to verify ourselves assuming "Come on, you know I grew up in Bankstown, you can't reject me!!!" Or " Mate, i am here to organise a despatch on behalf of my wife because she couldn't come for one million reasons".

Guys, every job has its protocols. Let's just say, when they try to follow rules, you think they are slow, mean and unkind. No one would want to lose his/her job to please you by speeding up process/overlooking protocols. Do not forget, some of the old school staff have had a long experience of making mistakes in the past, otherwise, they were once fast and witty like us too.

Remember, nothing is more urgent than that staff's employment because he/she has a family to raise. He speeds up to clear queue, makes errors in the process and he would get a sack the next day. What for? To bring one smile over your face ????

Try and observe, who ever you know is confident at his workplace, is usually rude and fast at the same time. Kind are the ones who usually have a long way to go and are still not confident in their role. You can either get speed or a gesture of kindness, your call.

I have been to this post office once to pay a bill and I got here around 4:40PM so there was still around 20 minutes until closing time. Quite unhappy with the customer service that I just received at Croydon LPO. I didn't have the correct envelope for an overseas letter I needed to send, and I was totally aware this was likely the case before I arrived at the post office. I have to drop some prepaid parcel on the outside plaza box.
Unfortunately the express post drop box have parcel stuck on the opening. I have no choice but to drop of "one" prepaid express post parcel to them.

Went the next day and staff again say that they couldn't find my item. And so, the staff told me to come back the next day AGAIN. Worst post office with queues that long sometimes you're standing outside the front door. Customer service is poor because of a major language barrier and they're just not helpful overall. There's only one Chinese lady who puts herself out for customers and is always cheerful. A lot of the customers let others go first just so they can be attended too by this lady. Quite often i go in there and there's 1 or 2 staff at the counters and the queue is a mile long. I don't know how Aust. The WORST australia post office I have ever had to deal with. After failing to redirect two of my parcels which resulted in one of my parcels being returned to the UK and the other to Sydney metro - I wrote a letter of complaint to australia post and had to go and meet the seller of the Sydney metro item myself to get the parcel. On another occasion the parcel lockers were broken - I had to log the incident myself because the post office staff had no idea it was broken. And now my parcels again aren't being placed in the parcel locker because they are broken again - I rang the manager at Merrylands post shop who argued with me and tried to TALK OVER ME and implied I should be thankful that I have a parcel locker because they are free of charge.

The last review is right, very rude and unhelpful staff. The ladies that work here do not give a damn about your problems (even though in my case it was an Auspost problem). They actually referred me to a private courier. The business I dealt with is now speaking to the Auspost Area Manager to solve this nightmare I have. (It's a really simple problem, but it is Auspost who makes it hard, and what's worse is they don't help and give bad advice.

Being a very short walk from Blacktown Station, this post office gets some points for accessibility for commuters - however, with limited parking nearby in what is an extremely busy shopping district, those driving in will find it hard to find a park, and may have to resort in parking at the nearby Westpoint mall to gain access. Complicating things further is the fact that because of the lack of pick up points or a parcel drop locker, those wishing to claim packages outside of the shop's business hours have to resort to attempting to gain access to the back area of the store where the post boxes are, and manually requesting for the parcel. During regular hours only 1-2 of the 4 total counters in the store are in use - this is alleviated by their use of a single-queue system, but this still means that as one of two primary post offices for the Blacktown area, you can expect this shop to have a line of customers waiting to be served.

I went to this place to pick up a parcel.the person serving me went inside to get me the item, but while looking for the item she (the CEO) decided to have a chat with another post office officer and simply forget about me. Easily the worst customer service I've received from any post office.
I frequent this LPO a lot and every time they are rude. Every time I feel like I'm given the third degree, ordered to state my address.
They believe rudely giving orders and saying the word 'please' after makes it ok.
They will make you stand there and wait like a punished school child while they sort out their own incompetence.
Rude staff, inefficient, painful.
Auspost needs to buy back this LPO and sell to a new owner.

I wish I could give negative stars. Just called the Post office to check if my parcel was there yet since I was left a collection card at my mail box. The lady (sounded Asian) was super rude on the phone. Basically said you can check that online I'm really busy right now (implied: don't waste my time) in the rudest way possible.

Disappointed customer: Went to use western union service, after waiting for 20 minutes got my turn. However, the guy just kept my papers aside and started serving other customers without telling me anything. I assume my job would take time but he needs to inform me if so, and besides I waited for 20 minutes on the queue already. Even the other lady on the queue told him "why don't you serve him first". I eventually had to take back my papers and walk away. Arif.. (I think that was what his name was) never do this to anyone again..!!

I have been going to this post office for the past 6+ yr's. I have to go there on a weekly basis for various things. Can't say much for there lack of service except "DISGUSTING" . Customer service appears to have gone out the window a very long time ago. Not to mention there general attitude toward snail passed service. These people have NO idea nor do they even care about providing the necessary service to the general public.

Im a white guy, but even i feel discriminated against, the 2 indian descent gentleman will gladly serve other indian descent customers with absolute attentiveness, and haste. But give me through the eye brow looks and eye rolls as i ask for my mail. It took 30 minutes for one of them to look for my mail, and i swear its because he went out back, made a tea, tossed a football around with his mate, called a relative, ate some cheese cake from the shop down the road, and then glanced over at the mail tray before deciding 'ehhh, mediocrity is my forte'. I honestly think a sales pitch from a Scientologist would have had me more excited.

1/7 would not mail again.

Arncliffe Post Office has a new Franchisee and they are fantastic. They have nearly finished a renovation making the physical environment clean, tidy and much more welcoming and the new staff are very friendly and helpful.

I know Au post never deliver the parcel just left a card. I got a card this morning and went to the office to collect my parcel, they told me I have to wait until 4 p.m. Because the driver only will come back and unload on that time, if you never plan to deliver the parcels why you don not leave all of them to post office on that suburb? Waste your time as well as mine.

Where to begin? First of all this post office has no phone number and is only open 9-5 Mon-Fri, so if you've ever wanted to spend a day of annual leave in a torturous hellscape full of innovative storage solutions such as 'the floor' and problem-solving masterclasses like 'are you sure you didn't already pick this up?' ...this is the place.
Add to that inconvenience the fact that the staff are a dazzling combination of rude, slow and incompetent and you have a post office so poor it almost borders on comical, but is still definitely infuriating. Did not even leave with my parcel. The literal worst thing ever, would not recommend.

Without a doubt the worst post office I've dealt with, compared with at least half a dozen others in the Sydney area which function fine. They neglect to leave postage slips for deliveries they claim to have made, and also lose parcels permanently. Parcels that do arrive are literally thrown over the fence onto a hard surface, without so much as a knock.

Staff are rude and unhelpful both in person and on the phone. Wait times to post or pick up an item have been up to an hour due to staff disorganisation; they do not know where anything is. Staff perform every action slowly and with a poor attitude. Lines of waiting customers frequently extend all the way out of the shop, past the sheltered porch area at the front well into the outside, which is a problem when it is pouring with rain and the line is not moving due to staff incompetence.

I received a parcel collection email and text message saying that my parcel is awaiting collection at Arncliff Post Office, when I went there collecting my parcel, one of the old man was very rude saying "it's not here, go to Kingsgrove", without any further explanation and shout out to next customer, left me there confused why my parcel was at Kingsgrove while I received the message to ask me collecting it here... when I asking if he could give me more details about the issue, he was no helpful but simply repeated what he just said "it's not here, go to Kingsgrove". It's like talking to a robot!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

Great service coming from the couple at the counter. Helped us with all our questions and queries concerning a delivery we wanted to make with a box; and gave the box from the shelf as well to take home and return. Despite our errors they served us. Downside being the they do not open past 5pm and very surreptitiously remove when the time limit is approaching. Perhaps try the post office down the road if you are looking to send anything after hours.

Please do not OPEN PO BOX IN CARLTON LPO!!!!! i have a po box there, everytime i have to call them to check for letters and parcels, no card left in po box, even call the auspost customer service 131318 they said should be with the driver due for delivery. I went into the PO to collect a parcel and was told that they didn't have it. The clerk did everything she could to try and retrieve it which I appreciate very much but it seems like the incorrect date was given on my parcel notification (6/10/2015 instead of 6/11/2015). I called the LPO twice before they closed on the Saturday, the first time it rung out so I assumed they were busy. I tried again two minutes later only to be notified that the phone had been disconnected. While the notification says that the shop closes at 11am, it is listed as 11:30am on Google. This NEEDS to be updated because it is far quicker to search vis Google than actually going to the APO website. To have a worker simply pull the plug on the phone when I am trying to call to verify closing times is disrespectful. A simple "sorry, we've just closed but we are open again..." would have been enough.

So I've held off giving any sort of feedback to this service for a long time, but today was the last straw. The 2 gentleman who run this franchise are rude and impatient. At times they can be short-tempered not only with one-another but customers.

Today, I was advised they were going to individually charge me to witness signatures on two separate statutory declarations. I refused to pay on principle. They are well-aware how difficult it is to find a JP anymore and are extorting people claiming it covers their costs.

I approached the pharmacist at the next counter as this franchise is situated inside a Pharmacy. The pharmacist, having born witness to the verbal exchange, was polite and more than happy to spend the 60 seconds it took to sign and witness the documents and I was on my way.

It's painful enough to interact with these gentlemen to get packages, let alone ask a public service of them.

I had friends living on that address but they got very old. Yearly I send my best wishes for the the New Year. I came in for passport lodgement after giving them a call 30mins before closing. I explained my situation to Peter and he kindly obliged. My passport was lodged without dramas. This was the 5th post office I went to. If I came here the first time, I would have saved myself time, money, hassle, drama, inconvenience and other silliness that I had to deal with in the post offices in St Mary's, Plumpton and Strathfield. Peter is by the book but reasonable. For any passport lodgement that requires a little brain in between the ears, do yourself a favour and go here instead.

i agree with the others about the horrible customer service, especially regarding one particular man.He looks to be in his 50’s, very short hair, glasses, he is about 165-172cm. (not the tall man nor the young man, they are fine) I tried to make formal complaint too but the website would allow.
it is never a pleasant experience being served by him. he is always grumpy looking and rude and abrupt and non helpful.

I am an ebay seller and I use Australia post services regularly. However this man makes me very reluctant to visit this post office due to his rudeness so I go to other post offices. But I still sometimes go to this post office out of convenience.
Today I had to go to this post office to post something. He was the only one serving. I asked him how much it would cost to post this parcel. He responded abruptly “well go get yourself a box first”

I asked, can you please tape this (asking him to seal the sides of the parcel) he responded “well you will need to get yourself some tape and tape it yourself because we don’t do that!”

I post things using Australia post regularly and have never been told that they cannot tape the sides of a parcel for me.

i try to avoid going to this post office when I can but something needs to be done about the terrible customer service from this man.

Terrible experience! I was cut mid sentence and hung up on when I tried inquiring about my parcel. The guy on the phone didn't even let me finish what I was saying! I immediately tried calling them back but they didn't answer any of my calls after that! Seriously pissed about this, I tried lodging a complaint on their website but apparently they won't allow you to proceed forward and the entire webpage just freezes and stops loading!

When someone is picking up a package on behalf of someone else, and the person picking up has their passport, drivers licence, letter signed and authorising pick up, phone numbers to call, and an offer to fax the post office live to confirm - then let the authorised person pick it up!

Worst customer service, avoid Lidcombe post office!! There's always a long line to be served and when they serve you they have the worst attitude. They have zero customer service and are always grumpy. They let someone pick up my package with more than $100 worth of items (without taking their signature or ID) and completely refused to take responsibility for their mistake. Luckily after calling Aus post customer service they were willing to help and investigate the issue further. I'd give Lidcombe zero stars if I could.

They are completely useless. I went in to get a passport photo done for my child and they said they couldn't do it. When I asked why, they said they didn't know how and told me to go elsewhere. When I asked him where, he tells me (in a condescending way) to go to the chemist or just hire a professional photographer. This is just a joke when the form says you can go to Auspost to get passport photos done and submit the form. The whole point of going to Auspost is to get it done "properly" to ensure the whole application is done without delays. It doesn't help when this branch decides it doesn't feel like offering this service. This is the last straw, they have stuffed up so many times with no considerations or care in the world for their customers. I'm going to Homebush West from now on.. the staff there are fast and friendly.

This is one scary post office. I once went to pick up a parcel. There was a different more anglicised version of my name on the parcel. The old grizzly tough looking guy at the counter was a wise guy and rudely told me he is doing a favour by giving the parcel. I asked him to be polite. I reply he said get lost before "I Smash Your Face In".
I kid you not he actually threatened to smash my face in. I complained to Aus Post but no action was taken.
I avoid that post office like the plague now. Don't want to get bashed up by a psycho station master.

Terrible customer service, lazy posties who deliver "failed delivery attempt notifications" to everyone whilst people are at their homes waiting for the parcels, because they cannot bother to walk a few steps and do their job properly. If I could give this no stars and still give my experience I would, I've lived here for over 10 years and the service never changes especially from the older people behind the counter who are too lazy to do their job properly, they're all old now and can't be bothered to take the initiative to look in the back or ask for parcel pick ups when chances are the parcel may be there early. Some of the staff there are nice but the rest are downright rude and condescending without a heart. I hate having to go and pick up my own parcels from here a feeling I shouldn't have, the only other options are to have my mail sent to my work address which is far out in the city or just find an alternative address that's eligible for pick up

As far as a post office goes they are like the others. But their customer service is laughably bad. You hand them items but when they hand items back and I put my hand out, they place it on the counter. They don't say bye or have a nice day instead they say nothing making you wonder if youre free to go. They also seen to struggle finding larger packages. Its like they are robots who never got the coding or update to be nice and pleasant. Hopefully soon they will but judging by other reviews I'm not alone.

I have held a PO Box at Cronulla Post Office for over 30 years. I have always found the staff over the years very helpful and friendly. At times the lines inside have moved slowly, this usually first thing in the morning when there is usually a queue waiting for the 9am opening, otherwise the service is generally good.

Whenever I have gone there the customer service is slow and unresponsive. You enter and wait forever for 2 workers behind the counter to sluggishly make their way through the line of customers whilst others just chat to them not working or dissappear back and forth acting as if they are doung things but just chat. I called and asked if I could do a passport renewal, I was told to come in. I was there 10mins later with two kids and although there was no one in the store they refused to do it!

I had to put my baby and child back in the car and drive to Kellyville who not only did it straight away they were beyond helpful and accommodating.

Worst service ever.. I had an urgent parcel to go to Adelaide. Went to this Berala location Monday, 24th Oct, 1:00pm. Asker lady in counter, want to send this parcel to SA via express post. She gave me a bag wich cost me $24.80. I packed my parcel in a bag and filled in the delivery address. Hande that bag to that same lady and asked her, is everything ok. She replied Yes.
Now when i'm tracking this parcel its scanning as sender not signed and sent via road service..
She didn't tell me to sign anywhere when i handed that parcel to her. Wasn't she supposed to let customer know what to do?

The ladies in this shop are very friendly and helpful. They don't give me a hard time when I come in for my passport. I didn't book the appointment but they still serve me without any complaint. I rate this shop five star for they outstanding customer service. This shop is a gem of the local. Highly recommend.

I went to pickup an international registered priority letter, which contained important documents. I had the displeasure to find out that my letter was soaking, and had also been bent to fit in a transparent plastic bag while awaiting for my collection, which maintained the humidity and ensured the letter remained wet over the weekend. The staff was unhelpful, and did not apologise on behalf of Australia Post ; instead, they justified this as something that just happens when it rains. This is unacceptable for a business whose main activity is to deliver letters which should be protected from adverse weather conditions, especially when the letter is registered and requires to go person at the PO to collect it.

I send a gift fo my mom by express post and no one knocked the door and even leave "collection card"((( When I checked my parcel by tracking number , they said that delivery was attended and now this item in a post office waiting for collection:( but my mom was at home all day, she is an old person and has a difficulty to move but she must go and collect her gift . Booked a passport interview in advance for 11:30AM today. The only person who could help me with this (the manager) wasn't even there and the rude staff who didn't even bother to greet me advised me to 'come back in 20 minutes'; time that I do not have as I arranged this particularly around my work day. Avoid if at all possible; better people could do better with the Auspost license and it's wasted on these imbeciles.

Avoid the Thai lady who would refuse to release your parcel despite proving that you live in the same place as your partner. Same lady also refuses to hand me my parcel without a calling card despite me handling her my proof of address. Her colleague had to repeatedly tell her it was okay to do so before she gave in and released my goddamn parcel. I can put up with no smile, no service but the lack of common sense is appalling and has happened more than twice. Wth is going on there!

So I've been waiting weeks to receive my kindle SCREEN PROTECTORS, which are extremely fragile and delicate (Hence the DO NOT FOLD) on the letter head, and some absolute retard thought it would be a good idea to fold them into my mailbox and completely damage both of my products. This is an absolute embarrassment. It is literally the most simple job in the world to work at the post office but every time I deal with you people, I am amazed by your lazy attitude and apathy. If you can't even manage working an extremely basic job at he post office. You should honestly just give up at life, there is no hope for you.

Disgraceful service! As a local I have been a customer for the past 3 years. I have always frequented this post office with my pomeranian puppy (always in my arms). Our trips to the post office have always been part of our regular walks. As I entered the shop today I was screamed at from behind the counter that dogs were not allowed in the premises. I was humiliated by the Australia Post employee and as a regular customer treated poorly. What happened to customer service, a sense of community spirit and empathy. This could have been handled so differently.

My husband & I love using this post office. Not only can we pay our bills quickly & easily but we also enjoy shooting the breeze with Leslie & Mario. I have been a regular customer here for years now and the reason I keep returning is because of the impeccable and friendly customer service. I visited another post office while I was out of town to renew my passport and they did not help me what so ever - I returned to my local post office and Leslie helped me out with all my passport needs, she went above and beyond her normal duties and even stayed behind me help me out. I constantly recommend people in the area to visit this post office as they will not be disappointed !

Because of parking issues- I reach there at 12.15 to learn that the Manager has gone to lunch. Great inconvenience especially as I have a baby under 1. The attitude of staff left much to be desired.

Terrible experience with one of the workers in this office. Although he was wearing a tie and suit but seemed to be completely unprofessional and had a very rude behavior. I got a parcel from Optus. A lady told me to bring International passport, returned home, took my passport. It took me 20 mins. When I gave them my passport, I was asked to present my photo id. I returned home and wasted about an hour. So pissed off right now

Excellent service, my son and I have been coming here for nearly 5 years with the same owner, he is always so helpful, quick, knowledgeable and kind. I don't know what those other people are talking about, maybe they should treat people the way they would like to be treated. I've never had an issue with this owner, and I watch the way he serves other customers in front of me in the cue and I've never seen a problem, if your not happy with him, don't go there anymore, he is a very gentle man just trying to do his job.

They need to train their staff how to do their job. I had this money order and wanted to refund it. Three of them didn't know how to do it. I was waiting there about 20 minutes without being aknlowged what's going on. Finally from back door a lady came out and fixed the problem.
The other thing is Australia Post staffs (doesn't matter where) are grumpy and look uninterested in their jobs most of the time. I wish never need to go there because of that attitude and poor customer service.

The post office attendant there was very rude and stubborn, he was not apologetic at all. After travelling an hour to come to this post office to collect my item after reviewing tracking information that it was awaiting collection here, he said that I was not able to pick it up because it was “return to sender”. None of this information was on the tracking website. He rudely told me to call the customer service number so I did, and the person who helped me said I should be able to collect it. He even spoke to the post office man who was still just as rude. I understand the confusion that my address and name had been ripped off the package and that none of this was on the tracking website, but he could have been a lot more apologetic and kind. Extremely annoyed and disappointed.

Have been going to this Post Office for many years and really have no problem with the staff. They are civil and reasonably efficient and make every effort to locate my packages. They frequently have to deal with very long queues, but as far as I can see they do well considering the chaotic state of Australia Post.

VERY disappointed with Australia Post Kogarah's service and am quite embarrassed for them. Customer service is APPALLING with not even a 'Hello' from one lady in particular. Staff are rude, inefficient and speak amongst themselves as if it is a social gathering. They never know where our parcels are and never have them together.

When receiving pick up slips, we never receive it directly in our mail. It is either under the door, on our driveway, in our letterbox or out the front. I am currently waiting on more than one item to arrive which is more than likely waiting for collection with no notification. Kogarah staff have to be the worst I have ever experienced. How can you not even acknowledge a customer!? I can only hope they soon will be audited. One very upset and dissatisfied DAILY customer who should be known by now (We literally pick belongings up x3 times a week!)

This is my local post office. I really wish I could give this place more stars, but most staff here really need to go through customer service trainings. I have been there numerous of times. They are just awfully unfriendly most of the time. I have seen the same staff working there for years, and they are either not responsive or really rude to customers. It doesn't bother me too much, since I'm only there for quick posting or picking up parcels, but imagine having to go through paperworks with them.

I'm not normally one to leave 1 star reviews, but in the case of this particualr post shop, I have to let others know the unacceptable service I had from this store. On 2 occasions now I have been into this store to get digital passport photos done for my daughter .First time they sent the wrong format so the passport office would not accept them. The second time, they copied down the email address incorrectly and we did not receive them.

Looking down the barrel of having to go back into the store to re shoot the photos for a third time, as once the email is sent ( wrongly or rightly) the photos are deleted, is painful to say the least, especially since we emphasised the need for photos in a particular format, which they got wrong, and gave them a business card with my email address so they wouldn't get the email address wrong, which they still managed to get wrong!

Can I even trust them to get this right a third time??

Otherwise they'll look at you like you're scum. Parcels regularly go missing and they blame you for it too. If I could give less than one star I would. I always have parcels go missing or posted late when I use this post office. Unfortunately they are the closest post office to the hospital where I work. Originally the service was fantastic, however over the the last year I have had to travel further to ensure my parcels don't go astray. A newer staff member here, Sufi, has very poor customer service skills or care factor when things go wrong and seems to be more interested in sitting down and scrolling through his phone. His behaviour seems very inconsistent with what I've come to expect from Australia Post and makes me uncomfortable.

DO NOT take a passport photo there! it will get rejected either on the interview time or in passport office. They don't follow the standards. I got my refund but they still argue the photo is matching the standards. they didn't bother to even say "Sorry"...for other services they are ok!

I made a formal complaint...I have peripheral neuropathy, which means my nerves in my hands & feet don't work properly, resulting in me being a little slow & clumsy with my hands (think writing, holding small things like pens, & getting my licence out to give to someone). I accidentally dropped my licence on the counter when I was attempting to hand it to an older woman of Asian decent who didn't speak English, who then proceeded to abuse me profusely for 'throwing' my licence down on the counter. I tried to explain to her my condition, & that it makes me clumsy, even asking someone else behind the counter to translate (whom was also of Asian decent & was speaking to my attendant in another language), in the hope of assisting the older female attendant to not be upset, but to know I meant no harm or offence. She continued to abuse me, even to the extent of almost yelling "What [is] clumsy? This [is] NOTHING! You [are a] LIAR!" Another customer tried to explain along with me what I was trying to say, however I turned to this customer, thanked her genuinely for her support, & I walked out of the Rosemeadow post shop without collecting my post item, as I was so upset & ashamed for being affected by a medical condition I have no control over. I am an Occupational Therapist, who has a comprehensive understanding of disability & the rights & freedoms which those with disabilities are allowed under international conventions, & this was a blatant disregard of my basic rights. It took me a couple of months before I could go back, & im alway on my guard in case more abuse comes my way due to their lack of knowledge of legislative requirements when dealing with people with disabilities, & lack of basic comprehension in English. Not a good representation of what should be a progressive & inclusive Australian community.

Rudest lady she has THE worst attitude I've ever encountered in a post office. They own a news agency but should not have the post office credentials as they are far too obnoxious and on a power trip. I merely needed to buy a new pre paid load and go. She actually refused to sell one to me as she knew I had one previously and said I needed a code to get a new one. Load and go service was on the phone to me and she refused to speak to them in order for them to explain that she was mistaken as my old card was never registered.
This ruined my entire weekend and forced me to lose my new job. I needed the money I has in cash to be on a visa to hire a car.

Worst experience every time i visit this post office being local i have no choice but to go into this store but not preferred. Disgusting service always waiting with long queues as staff seem more interested in taking their time rather then being efficient! I work in retail and this is far from good service. I don't have this problem at any other post office. There is one time i visited and due to incompetence turned me away when clearly i had a post note to pick up my delievery to then drive back and return and my package was there due to staff error. For exemple if a package is lost or late or if you have never received this little paper to tell you that you have a package or if you have sent an express package but instead of taking a week to arrive it takes a month (and of course in those situations they are helpless ... They are rude, unprofessional, exceedingly slow, and there is always long lines waiting for mail related services as a hurricane could not make the owners work any faster. An utter disgrace. I have had a run in more than once with these people over non delivery of the newspaper. I gave up in the end and called the publisher to lodge a complaint. He is an over bearing bully and she is the subservient mouse cringing whenever he speaks. Luckily the Asian lady who handles the post is very nice and competent.

Great LPO friendly.
So i went to riverstone and they were busy BUT so helpful got photos done for passports and that was with a busy shop no appointment needed. For me and 2 kids and even got my forklift licence sorted all with only half an hour before closing. RIVERSTONE LPO is so much better than rouse hill village they refused to serve with no one in the shop.

I have been here a few times to send items in the mail and a pay a few things. Every time I go there is a long queue and a lengthy wait to preform the simpliest of tasks as mentioned above.

The indian people who serve at the counter are lacking in customer service and let their children run around in the back where the parcels are.

They also don't tell you about cheaper alternitives to sending items in the mail. I was trying to send a medium sized item interstate and the lady who served me immediately assumed I needed signature on delivery for all the parcels. Didn't even realise until I read the receipt in my car.

Have rung up as requested per organisation for item that I haven't received to make sure it didn't go straight to the LPO. Rung up, the lady I spoke to wouldn't even let me explain the situation and kept talking over me. She then put me on hold and started serving other people instead of answering question or looking for item. I went to get an ID varification for a govt ID. I provided three forms of ID but my bank card doesn't have my middle (the others do). The lady refused that ID. Computer says no.

Quite easily the best Australia Post store I've ever been to. The staff are helpful, especially the older guy. They are fast and have yet to make a mistake with anything that I have dealt with. The PO boxes are usually filled by 9am which is excellent as well. Not sure why all these other reviews are so bad, some people are just born sour and impatient I guess.

I have been comming here for some time, as it's my local postoffice that opens on a Saturday morning.
During this time changed hands about 3 times.
The current operator (April 2016) has no idea how to charge. Stay aware of the costs and question if you feel it's incorrect.

If you need Post Office type supplies, this is not the place for you.

Went in there to post an order from eBay and paid which was $18 and they wanted to stick $18 worth of stamps all over the box. (Not exactly professional looking when trying to run a business). When questioned about this they had no idea how just do it normally and had to come back in 15 minutes, and all this just to send a box normally which should have taken just 3 minutes. I had booked an appointment (over the phone) for passport photos taken for my 7 months old. Once we got there we were told that they don't do passports on Sundays. Ridiculous and never go back again! You can't do this to people with young babies.

Incompetent, despicable, rude, driver never even attempts delivery just leaves docket in the mail box, when you try to pick up parcel they cause scenes, refuse to hand over items even though name matches. The man in charge cannot speak basic English. When you try to complain his response is to make snorty noises and laugh. He is the embodiment of everything wrong with Australia Post. The customer service was absolutely atrocious! It takes zero effort to acknowledge and maybe even smile at a customer who is waiting at the counter for you to finish up a parcel. The gentlemen working there stood right behind the counter and never even acknowledged our existence after a several minutes and then walked out to the back and we were eventually served by someone else who had minimal people skills.

My family and I today had update all our passports. There are 5 of us in total all with our unique issues and differences. So when checking the forms for staff providing the service no doubt find it is painful all these different documents to check cross reference etc. Two staff ended up doing all our forms to get things done. Waited in line for 20 minutes, was told I couldn't collect my parcel because my licence is in my married name and parcel was in my maiden name. Advised to come back with passport and wedding certificate. Came back with all documents; waited 20 minutes again, and was told I could not collect the parcel, despite providing passport, wedding certificate, credit cards, and Medicare cards. Service by manager was rude and did not fain any concern for my predicament.

This is the post office that you avoid at all costs go to windsor or hike to Richmond. For two years the head Lady that runs this post office has given me and my fellow colleagues grief every single time without FAIL. We even refused to get a po box there to avoid dealing with the nonsense and rude behaviour. From sending mail to retrieving mail and even paying bills. The lady will have an issue question you rudely, lie about the weight of parcels, gets grumpy if you ask for the proof of lodgement and will argue to hand over business mail even with your ID and parcel pick up card because it's under our mangers name so our receptionist has to go grab him sometimes.(it's no issue elsewhere nor with head auspost) Today is the last day again lying about the weight and got busted. Even for emergency drop off's you've lost my business and many others in the local area. Lady i've waited 2 years to write this.

And that other white man with the skinny face was looking and didn't say a word as if agreeing to it!
Didn't have time to argue with her so just took it to another post office location and they happily accepted it without any questions!
Bet if i was a white dude they would've been all smiles and accepted the package. i also will be contacting Au Post to file a formal complaint, just gathering all the evidence to support my claim.

Atrocious behaviour, awful customer service. Due to mild, easily resolvable discrepency in passport application, the person at the counter became argumentative, and refused to call the passport office, despite this being the advice given to me by the passport office to resolve the discrepency.

Had disgusting service from an Asian female who wears glasses. She is very unprofessional, unhelpful, impolite and should keep her opinions to herself before somebody knocks her out. If you want your day ruined, then by all means come to this post office

Sadly I have been have been forced to be a customer of this store for close to 8 years now if you're obligated to pick up a package you were expected to wait in a line that goes out of the store and wait for a minimum of 20 minutes they are advertised that trading hours but because they are so understaffed they closed the store 15 to 20 minutes before they're closing hour because of the number of people waiting in the store this is by far the worst management of any business I have ever come across everytime I walk in the store this store I count the number of counters they have 5 but I've never seen any more than 4 staff working thay need 6.

To the management of Campsie post office you are incompetent and I recommend you find a career elsewhere.

Such a f*kd up service! They lose such important parcels (parcels who are registered posts; without notifying) and deny to accept that they lost anything. The tracking system says “parcel at campsie post office” and they deny it being a post office but a post shop. Completely irresponsible and disgusting.

All the drivers are too lazy to deliver the parcels because they have to walk up one set of stairs. That means I have to take time out of my day to go collect it. DO YOUR F ING JOB

How can people like this run such an integral part of Australia's primary post? Showed up at 8:3am because my parcel collection card listed trading hours starting at 8:30. Was turned away by an arrogant Chinese woman who was "busy" preparing for the start of her work day which was displayed on the shop window as 9:00am. If this were my business, I would have let the customer in and let them be on their way and apologise for the fact that the trading hours on the card were incorrect.

My service recently from the same asian lady with glasses and short blonde streaked hair has been abysmal. Completely rude and snobby attitude, for I have been cursed those times of having been served by her. I was served by a nice lady who still works there , im sure you will notice her since she's got to be the only polite female worker there, but having been served continuously by this rude asian lady with glasses my whole perspective of this place and how the manager "manages " has completely flipped. Fix your stuff , you're in the run of the worst local post office , just look at your reviews for a second. I'd love for that asian lady to read the nice comments about her.

The only star is for the good staff who work Campsie post office.
There was a Asian lady who was working on floor about lunch time today. She is not qualified for working in any post office. She did not check any item number or barcode then she will send you home because you pick the parsel for your wife(even the parcel does not need any signature and you have your wife's ID and your ID). The Manager is not qualified for working in any post office too, because she does the same thing and she dose not supervise the staff very well(when I talk to the manager about pick the parcel with the IDs, she said the same thing like the lady who was working on floor said to me. When I told her I've been told I can pick up parcel with the IDs and I've done that many many times before. She start blame the staff who has done that before.
Do not go to Campsie post office, if you don't have to. If you have to, you need to pray to get the good staff to serve you.

Absolutely shocking service. The staff are uninterested in helping. They are not contactable by phone. They have repeatedly lost parcels or not left a card to notify us there is a parcel. They don't follow through with services. Overall the experience was stressful and disappointing.

No parking space, what's there is almost always occupied. Parking in Coles helps.

Wish they open Saturdays, even for half-day. Or even for 1-hour, just so I can get my parcel.

Auspost misplaced a parcel locker delivery and for whatever reason got forwarded to Mascot Post Office - So I went in my local Canterbury Post Office just wanting to check with the shop-owner to see if he could check any delivery with my name on them.
His response was blunt and blatantly refused to do anything or even lift a single finger. He insisted on no pick-up card, no checking; pretty much doesn't want anything to do with Parcel Locker (as he's so against it and told me numerous time previously) and instead gave me a number to call.
I HAVE rang Auspost previously, and the Auspost operator called Mascot Post Office and asked them if there was any delivery under my name with no luck, I just thought I'd walk down to my own local and check and not do it over the phone (as that's what Auspost would do if I call them anyway), well so much for that!
He must own this shop as he's always the one and only there all the time. This is not the first time I've seen him with this level of service and attitude - I've seen him argue with a customer before over a delivery.

Update: received a tracking code which I came back to see him on the weekend and up and behold, he's been holding my package for a week. I just never received a card or notification. He would've saved me a lot of time and grievance had he just looked - it's not a major post office (and I was the only customer that morning).

With the rapid rise of development in Canterbury area, this person's going to have to up his game. You can't just pick and choose which customer you're going to be friendly with.

The Indian staff doesn't seem to like his job and seems to be always in frustration. He is very rude to his customers. He looks like an ugly sore loser ruining joyful days of people, he stinks and smells so bad! This shop need to be shutdown. I hope actions will be taken.

Received an email to pick up on friday afternoon 19/10/18, today on tuesday 23/10/18 i went to pick up and This man already sent it back to the sender asking why I didn't pick up friday, saturday or monday.
Now i have to wait for the automatic refund processing from oversea company taking up to 10 days, but it's none of your business as you said i guess cos seems like you don't even care and not responsible for your business right?

I came here to send a really important mail, I asked for tape to seal the envelope and the staff guaranteed he'll do it for me because he's chatting with someone else which really makes me insecure. I stayed there to see if he's going to do it but he just claimed he's gonna handle the rest and asked me to leave. I'm not sure what went wrong but the mail hasn't been received for three weeks. Totally lose trust to this post.
