Welcome to the Australian Allergy Centre, Leaders in Allergy Testing.

With the rapid rise in allergic disease in the past 30 years, the demand for allergy and immunology community health services in Australia has reached unprecedented levels. To help address this increased demand, the Australian Allergy Centre has opened brand new, state of the art medical facilities in Eastern Sydney (Double Bay), North West (Bella Vista) and the Illawarra region (Wollongong).

Our team of passionate and dedicated health professionals specialise in the diagnosis and management of allergic rhinitis (hay fever), allergic allergy induced asthma, eczema and food allergies. Patients are comprehensively assessed and offered expert opinion informed by research and clinical experience.

We fully understand the negative affects allergic conditions can have on quality of life. At the Australian Allergy Centre, our goal is to help patients identify and treat allergies in a safe and effective manner according to current evidence based medicine.

With the firm belief that all Australians deserve equal access to quality health care, all medical consultations at the Australian Allergy Centre are BULK-BILLED with NO REFERRAL necessary. Allergy testing is bulk-billed, though some extended food, nut and patch tests for contact allergy will incur a gap payment.

Tests include:

• Nasoendoscopy
• Skin Prick Testing for aeroallergens, food and nut
• Contact Dermatitis Patch Testing
• Lung Function Tests (Spirometry)
• Nasal Flow and Resistance Testing (Rhinomanometry)
• Blood tests and Imaging such as CT scans may be required for some patients

To manage allergies, we offer:

• Advice about allergen minimisation e. g. diet, environmental control
• Rhinolight™ Treatment (phototherapy for relief of allergic rhinitis symptoms)
• Immunotherapy (desensitisation therapy for patients with allergic rhinitis, venom allergy and allergic triggers to asthma)
