Australian Anti-Bases Campaign Coalition

About Australian Anti-Bases Campaign Coalition

Our aim is to rid Australia of all US bases and assert an independent Australian foreign policy.

Australian Anti-Bases Campaign Coalition Description

The Australian Anti-Bases Campaign Coalition (AABCC) is made up of a broad range of groups and individuals who are working for the removal of all US military bases and associated intelligence facilities and activities in Australia. These include Pine Gap, North West Cape, Smithfield and those foreign activities associated with the Watsonia intelligence network at Carbarlah, Pearce and Shoal Bay.

The AABCC sees the closure of these bases as a positive step towards world-wide nuclear non-proliferation, disarmament and peace.

The AABCC aims to promote the development of a coordinated campaign for the removal of these facilities by:

Hosting regular forums for discussing, planning and coordinating actions towards the removal of these facilities;

Raising funds to carry out agreed nationally and regionally coordinated actions towards the removal of these facilities;

Acting as a contact point for information and resources for groups undertaking actions /or programs endorsed by the AABCC.
