A close friend of mine had the LASIK earlier in the year and I decided perhaps it was time to do it myself. I asked her how her experience was at AIES and she recommended it. 6 weeks after the procedure, I am so incredibly happy with the results and the team here are so friendly, professional and eager to answer any question possible. I have already referred a colleague to AIES based on my experience and will continue to do so.

I couldn't be happier with my eyes! I'd been wearing glasses since I was a child, and got laser eye surgery a few weeks ago. My high prescription meant that there was a risk of a non-perfect outcome. However, I can now see better than I ever could, even with glasses!! I have better than 20/20 vision in both eyes and it's AMAZING. I would highly recommend AIES. It was a great experience all-round.

No follow up, no care for resulting blindness in left eye.
Went elsewhere for surgery to stop eye sight loss in other eye.

Was booked in to get laser eye surgery at 7:30am in the morning and at 7:36am when I was now in North Sydney I was told there was a problem with the equipment. I was told I could wait around in case they fix it by a technician but won't know until 11am if the issue has been fixed. My husband and I both took the day off work and due to the massive inconvenience and lack of clarity from the management if it will get fixed or not I dropped my husband to work and made my way back home which is an hour and a half away!!! Finally got a call at 11 to say the equipment was now fixed and if I would like to come back in. I told them I have no way to make it there and home now as my husband has now gone to work and I have his car so will they compensate me by paying for my transport in and home after the procedure considering this inconvenience is completely their fault and have already wasted my whole morning driving to and from North Sydney. I spoke to the manager Elizabeth Fotte who informed me it's not their responsibility to get me to and from an appointment even though they problem was due to their faulty equipment. No other recommendations were provided to rectify this breach of service and was only offered an appointment in a months time! I am completely disappointed in this lack of customer service and have made the decision to look elsewhere.

Should have had laser done years ago highly recommend ! Does effect reading vision

I had wavefront in both eyes, instead of 1 week to recover it took 8weeks before my vision came back (very scarey 8weeks), both eyes are about the same as before the lasek, only now my short vision which was perfect before is not great, and I have astigmatism in both eyes... never had that before the operation. very disappointed.
