Australian Tutoring Association

The ATA is the peak body and official voice for private tutors in Australia. The company is based in Sydney and has members across every State and Territory of Australia as well as in Canada, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam and Indonesia. The ATA binds it members to a Code of Conduct which is currently published in 8 languages. The ATA takes the view that self-regulation is the preferred method of ensuring best practice standards. The feature of strong self-regulation are the presence of an active peak body, a widely held Code of Conduct, a means of accreditation and a capacity for resolving disputes.
