If 2 and a half stars were an option I’d pick it. While it is a great day and value for money, a lot of attractions were not running. No horse and cart hay ride, just a tractor hay ride, the mini steam trains weren’t running and attempting to have lunch at the damper camp was beyond a joke. It took close to 2 hours just to get served a pot of tea with 2 slices of damper and 2 advertised ‘jacket potatos’ that were just smothered in cheese, very little bacon and hardly any sour cream. And might I add came stone cold. I was looking forward to a good damper to fill me up but the wait to receive my food took away most of my visit and I didn’t get to finish looking around as I had to leave. Other then that, it’s a nice village, great atmosphere. Just avoid the damper camp!!!
