Line One genetics proving their worth again. One couldn’t dream worse conditions to grass finish cattle on yet the marbling results are well ahead of normal Hereford breed levels up to 4! Unheard of for herefords. Well done Youngers for pursuing these genetics and using them hard & the Line One programs of Holden’s & Coopers for continually breeding cattle that work in all conditions.
We have been fortunate to flush the dam of this awesome sire and will have calves on the ground within months. She’s also the dam of the $160,000 HH Advance 5107. What a cow.

Despite the tough conditions the heifers are calving easily and the calves have great vigour. 75% Line One blood. The Line One cattle have proven themselves again in this drought breeding well and calving without issue. Hopefully this guy will see green grass before long.
