Homecoming is always a special day. We are so appreciative that we get to spend it with people from all across Australia who at one time called Avondale home. Thank you to all the people who helped make events like today possible! We appreciate it so much. Welcome Home!

The musicianship developed using the Kodaly method is second to none. That’s why it’s an integral part of any music minor, major, or specialisation at Avondale College of Higher Education

Born in Cuba in 1970, Jaime Jorge began violin studies at age five. At age 10, his family immigrated to the United States where Jaime began lessons with eminent violinist Cyrus Forough, a student of the great David Oistrakh. Jaime’s mother wanted Jaime to play professionally but he dreamed of becoming a missionary doctor. Entering college in 1988, Jaime began all the courses to prepare for medical school, earning acceptance into the University Of Illinois in 1992. In his second year, Jaime felt God’s call to leave for a life of service dedicated to music ministry.
He will be performing at Avondale College Church as part of Avondale College of Higher Education's Homecoming weekend. Don't miss this opportunity to hear his music, and his story.
