Stayed here several times..George and the staff are very nice..rooms are clean the newer rooms are decked out quite nicely

Great classic room, amazing views of the park! Close to NSW campus, shops and the beach! No dining, but the room is equipped for you to buy and store groceries (which is good for a corporate Traveller who doesn't want to eat out all the time). Staff is very nice. Free WiFi is fast, but uses annoying vouchers which I used up very quickly (more are free but it's a hastle to have to go down and ask, and when the desk is shut your SOL for the night).

The rooms were stinky and sheets not clean with very basic amenities.Not going back there again.

I stay at quite a few hotels for work, and stayed here for the first time in early December 2016. Often hotels look better in photographs than in real life, but not for this one! The photographs don't do it justice. I enjoyed staying somewhere with a bit of character, but I don't mean run-down: rest assured it is still clean, not smelly, comfortable bed, plumbing works perfectly, etc.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with impeccable service. The room was very cosy, quiet and overlooked the park. Very impressed!
