Ever feel you are constantly rushing and always on the back foot?
Having a Monday morning routine is the key to starting the week calmly and with intention. As they say win the morning, win the day.
... We plan out so much of our work schedules and social life so why not have small daily habits for our mindset and health as well.
A little insight into Anna’s Monday morning routine: 🧘‍♀️Meditation (something new to the routine, we recommend the @calm Or @headspace App if you are just getting started) (5-10mins) 🍏Yummy breakfast usually something quick and simple 🏃‍♀️Weekly meals and exercise plan (this has usually been done Sunday night) 🤓Weekly business planning and setting top 3 tasks for the week (our team also have a similar planning process on Monday mornings) 🤸🏼‍♀️Yoga class 9.30am with @ashbrunner At our Cremorne Clinic And then the rest is history!
Routine and habit may feel boring but it allows you to focus on getting the right things done at the right time to then allow space for all the things that truely matter and for you to be present in those moments.

SWINGING INTO THE WEEKEND This time of year frustrates me with all the gyms and fitness personalities sprouting their quick fixes to get you summer body ready which in the end can be de-motivating and turn people off a healthier, more active lifestyle.

... Why don’t we focus on all the amazing things our bodies CAN do! Set your next set of goals or challenges as trying a new activity. There is more and more research coming out about how trying new skills and challenges improves neuroplasticity in the brain. Bottom line: trying new things is good for the body and mind! And add into all of this is finding your JOY and FUN in movement! This is what keeps you sticking with it when routine becomes boring

CLIENT OF THE MONTH: Ian Ian has been seeing Heather and Ashlee at Balanced Bodies Lifestyle Clinic since February this year and has been working hard to achieve his goals. Recently Ian’s dedication and commitment to his health has increased and he is living the values of our clinic by striving for his daily dose of movement. Ian has increased his daily step count significantly and is coming in multiple times per week to see one of our Exercise Physiologists and Physiotherapists. The key is to get that timing right and to listen to your body so you know when to slow down a little. End of term 3 is a pretty good time to give yourself a bit of time. I know I certainly need it. I’ve lost a little bit of my sparkle at the moment and it’s definitely time to recharge. 2 weeks at the beach should do it. ❤️

We focus on matching the guidelines and research to people’s personal preferences. A FIVER FOR A FARMER
Anyone who was in our clinic today would have noticed the lovely Manja on reception dressed a little differently in her Akubra and flanno dressed up as a farmer to raise awareness and money for @afiverforafarmer
The money raised through this will go to @ruralaid (providing assistance and relief for Farmers in distress and poverty) and @droughtangels (providing drought relief to rural families in need).

It is with mixed emotions we let you all know that we have closed our Cammeray Clinic BUT very excited that all of our Lower North Shore services have been centralised to our Cremorne Clinic.
A HUGE thanks to the amazing team at @physioonmiller in Cammeray who allowed us to work from such a great space for the last 18 months and work alongside a great team of physios and pilates instructors.
... SO WHATS HAPPENING AT CREMORNE I HEAR YOU ASK... We are committed to continuing to inspire individuals to achieve their daily dose of movement and improve their health and well-being with an great team of health practitioners working together under one roof: 🤸🏼‍♀️All of our Exercise Physiology 1-1 sessions and group classes will be running 6days a week for all your health and fitness needs. 🍎🍏We will continue to have the Dietitians from Body Fusion available on Mondays. 🏃‍♂️The team from Spinal Synergy Physiotherapy are available Monday to Friday for Physio and Pilates 🧘‍♀️The lovely @ashbrunner from @bodyfusion continues to run our weekly Yoga class 💆‍♀️Or if all of your active pursuits are meaning you need to unwind a bit we have @meeghanbourne available on Wednesday and Fridays for Massage Therapy.
