Great architecture, great food, great entertainment, and friendly staff

My wife and I found this gem of a pub by chance. We sat in the beer garden with our dog Hamish. Reminded me of a country pub in England. We will definately be going back

Old small colonial waterfront pub.Upstairs inside/outside eating & drinking area is a nice blend of old and new and allows some escape from the noise.

Great little local. Good rugby/sports pub with tvs in most areas. Food menu quite upmarket. Booking advisable for groups or big events!

A quintessential turn of the century Balmain workers pub that has modern delicious food served by friendly staff in a lovely well maintained historic bar. I really enjoy the times it is less busy as I can enjoy at all more!

Best pub in Balmain hands down! Fantastic atmosphere, food is great and still retains the old world charm that is mostly lost these days! Dont tell too many people though!! :-)

An excellent hostelry. Look out for Luke, great barman and responds extremely well to lashings of tips.

Great pub, friendly manager and the best part pooch friendly which makes for a fun time. Had the Easter menu, muslles and chips was delish. Only quarm is there could be a wider price range for wine list, high price for average wine that I had tried.
