1. My first experience with the spa was great. The lady who looked after me was very knowledgeable and the facial was super for my sensitive skin. The products recommended were also suitable. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

2. My second visit - completely and utterly disappointing. The facial was average and the $300+ products recommended to me completely burnt my skin. I could not use these after the first use and it took a while for my skin to recover. Disgraceful considering they knew about my skin sensitivity and I put complete trust in their recommendations.

3. My mother was in and out of her recovery from skin cancer. I purchased her a voucher to lift her spirits. She had to cancel her appointment twice (for genuine reasons) this put her out of the 6 months she had to use it. I was disgusted in the owner who not only made me feel bad that we didn't use the voucher within the 6 months but also made my mother feel really terrible once we asked if we could still use it as mum didn't need to go to the hospital anymore. Most Wollongong spas are very flexible (actually all except here). We received a telling off, just straight out plain rude attitude. The owner even considered whether or not my mother could still use the voucher after I explained mums situation. I won't forget this lack of empathy!

I won't be coming back and I certainly don't recommend this place!

I love these guys. I have been coming here for years now and always receive great treatment, whether it's for a pampering or waxing everyone knows what they are doing and I always receive great customer service!

I use to go to this Beautician years ago... have just started going back and I feel the service is very professional and genuine then my prior experience with this medispa. I believe that 2 of the beauticians have now gone into business together and feel this has improved the service. Their prices are also reasonable. I will now be attending this wonderful local medispa and am happy to support the 2 new owners, and am extremely satisfied with all the services they provide. If I were u I would give them a go, as all the staff I have delt with in recent treatments are all very professional and there is a very warm feeling their. I'm happy I returned. 😊

Love going to the girls at Balgownie beauty, always professional, all the facial treatments are gorgeous and I walk away feeling pampered, relaxed and my skin revived..
