All set up at the @ballinafoodandwinefestival !! Prawns on offer were swimming last night !! Weighed in straight off the boats to the co op this morning. @sydneyfishmarket , lucky we’ve still got your banner !!

Fresh river schoolies being cooked right now.

Now we wait. Maybe we can get some tips off @salumiaustralia !!??

Sorting the big honkers for @costa_nemitsas and southern fresh seafood. Some were coming in at a quarter of a kilo each !!!

Beautiful sweet river schoolies. Cooked and in the counter !!

Some say they make great Mackerel bait. Well, they may, but I say they’re too good for that !!

Fresh Local Ballina King Prawns. Peeled. De-veined. Dipped in a garlic/parsley batter. Cooked. Served. Out of the ocean, not out of a box !!!

Just off the boat. Over the weigh in table and into the counter for sale. Beautiful sweet and crisp Ballina King Prawns !

Brought 6 scallops asked for lemon, didn’t receive the lemon... also ordered a chicken burger meal with cheese, had no cheese had to go back and ask for cheese took 5 workers to come out(trying to be intimidating or something I don’t know) and basically put cheese on my burger.. this is not just a one off occasion! Another occasion they had on a sign board outside burger chips and a drink for $10 went in there to order to be told it wasn’t $10 and basically argued with the worker for 10 minutes (and more workers came out and stood around and stared - whispering under their breaths) until they checked the board gave the meal for $10 but took the sign down after lol.

Will be taking my money up the street to northern rivers co-op! Always friendly and great food up there �
