The 23rd FAI World Hot Air Ballooning Championships have just taken place in Austria. 105 of the world's best pilots competed in the event from 36 countries.
We are so proud to have had three of our Balloon Aloft Australia pilots finish in the Top 15 in the world!! Nicola, our Hunter Valley pilot finished in 9th place becoming only the 2nd ever woman in history to finish in the Top 10.
Clement, our Senior Area pilot in the Camden Valley finished 6th and Matthew, Director of Balloon Aloft Australia finished in 15th place. Truly amazing! We look forward to welcoming them all back next week where they will resume their flying roles in the Hunter and Camden Valley 🎈

It's that time again! The annual Balloon Aloft Hunter Valley Fiesta will take to the skies over the Hunter Valley for the October Long Weekend with flights scheduled each morning from the 28th September to 1st October.
Each day sees upward of twenty-five hot air balloons from all around the country launch together at sunrise and float majestically over the Hunter Valley wine country. Come join in the excitement as a passenger or follow along from the ground.
