My goodness me..

After seeing the many 1 star reviews about the rudeness of Sue, I thought i'd give these guys the benefit of the doubt and give them a call. What proceeded was one of the strangest conversations i've had with a service delivery company.

After asking for a quote for a split system and being given a price, I asked when someone would be available to come around and provide a written quote. I mentioned that i'd read a few reviews online that said owners had waited in all day for no one to show up and raised that as a concern.

That was a mistake. Sue turned from friendly to rather abrupt and rude. Saying that "my generation" wants everything now and can't wait. Interesting, as at no point during the conversation was my age discussed. I asked to speak to the owner but was informed that Sue was one of the owners and that she was "sorry about that".

It's a real shame. I'm all about giving local businesses a fair go, and I tried very hard to, but after being hung up on I think i'll go someplace else.

I filled in their web form but never heard from them...

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE and RUDE!
I rang up today to provide feedback about no return phone calls (6 in total - left voicemail on their answering service). I spoke to a lady named Sue who turned quite aggressive on the phone - she didn't want to either listen to me or try and resolve the situation. She then continued to lecture me on how people should get their air-conditioners fitted in winter instead of summer to eliminate bottlenecks. After this she hung up on me. I DO NOT recommend using this business if this is how they behave. Thank you Peter

Rem and his team recently put in a Daikin VRV system for us including two ducted units and a Zena split system with a single outdoor unit.

Due to the nature of our building, we had some very specific requirements with routing and concealed pipework for aesthetic/functional reasons.
The outdoor unit also had to be located some way from the building with very difficult vertical and horizontal access.

Rem was very constructive with his approach and and the outcome is exactly what we wanted. Rem was flexible even when we made some errors and provided very pragmatic/consultative solutions to our requirements.

We spoke to quite a few AC suppliers and others struggled with what we were after.

Balmoral Air understood what we wanted to do, understood the capability of the products they sold and got us there. The system works very well. Recommended.

Rem and the team at Balmoral Air just put in air conditioning in our home and we are really happy with the outcome.

We had a challenging project to put ducted style multi-split air conditioning into every room of a 1970’s apartment as part of a full property renovation. To get approval for the air conditioner was a challenge, as our strata had just introduced fairly onerous noise restrictions. Strata also wanted a lot of detail around the installation method and drainage plan.

I spoke to half a dozen air conditioning specialists in the area. Rem was the only one who fully understood the requirements and level of finish we were after. Rem helped us by designing a system that met strata’s requirements, the finish we wanted, and within our budget. He also helped by supplying all the information we needed to submit to the owners corporation with our application.

Thanks to Rem’s help we got the application turned around in short order. During installation Rem was really flexible and helped us out with several other aspects of our project. Rem did a great job, and I recommend him and Balmoral Air.

Organised a quote at an agreed time, no one turned up, no one called and no one answered or returned my phone call.
Learn from my mistake and use someone else.
