Top notch service, great food. Try the egg plant salad- delicious!

Pretty average, dissapointing considering all great reviews. Staff are friendly, it has a good atmosphere but the food wasn't great. I went there twice, once ordered a variety to share and once had a meat banquet. Both times i liked two dishes out of five or six, and im not a picky eater. The same sauces on several different dishes didn't help. I wont be in a rush to go there again.

Love this place - the food is exceptional, the staff friendly, the service great, the atmosphere fantastic. Happy hour 4pm until 6pm Thursday and Friday and Wednesday all day till close. Monday and Tuesday they are closed but Wednesday till Friday they have $12 lunches which is value ++ and breakfast is back on the weekend. "South American cuisine" and lots of South American theme days. 'Day of the dead, salsa dancing, Argentinian BBQ Sunday nights' etc etc. Barcito I am impressed and I will be back again and again. A small group of family and friends now only 1 year in their first business bringing something different to Newcastle. :-)

Barcito is the home to fun, family, friends, yummy food, great drinks, live music and exceptional customer service. I would not go past visiting this amazing place!

Beautiful Argentinian-Australian fusion restaurant with a wide variety of South American wines. Cocktails are Highly recommend!

Great coffee! I only went for coffee and cake. Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Music was a bit loud making conversation a little difficult. The cakes had taken on a fridge flavour but still tasty. Excellent coffee! I'll be going back. Great coffee!
