Welcome to Barks and Recreation!
Barks and Recreation provides dog walking and behaviour modification services to dog owners in Sydney’s Inner West. Our training and walking technique focus upon rewarding wanted behaviour and removing rewards for unwanted behaviour. We apply the knowledge that animal behaviourists have gained in dog learning and behaviour to help you reach your training goals!
If your dog is already a superstar and walking services are all that you need, you can have peace of mind knowing that your dog is in educated hands.
We also offer post walk dog-washing services so that your dog can be returned home to you smelling and looking lovely no matter what!

A little about me…
My name is Charlotte Gorman and I have spent over ten years working with animals. I began working with performance and racehorses training under the guidance of some of Australia and Germany’s most accomplished riders. My interest in dog training grew from researching the work of scent detection dogs in the fields of conservation and medical detection. From then on I was hooked! I gained a Statement of Attainment in Dog Training from Steve and Vicki Austin and have been working training and walking dogs ever since.
