Wanted 2 copies of a car key to be made. Simple operation which took 5 mins to complete, and I provided the key templates. Was charged $25 each which, given the cost of key cutting in Mr Minit and Bunnings etc (where the process is exactly the same) is ridiculous. When I questioned the charge the guy behind the counter told me to 'talk to the boss'. Barrenjoey locksmiths have just lost a potential customer.
Really great service. The guy who runs it is a lock guru - he converted a very old non-locking ranch slider handle into a locking one, thereby saving me $70 to buy a new lock. Very impressive.
