Ever since the merger, customer service absolutely stinks! Each time I call I get some answering centre answering the phone with the same LAME EXCUSE "the staff are in a meeting". The council employs 100's of people, they surely can't all be in a meeting all the time!
I am convinced the Council is using the call centre to stone wall inquiries, the Council should be there to answer the reasonable concerns of residents. A once great Council has become typical of a public service conglomerate, owed a living and giving NO SERVICE!
I pay rates, I vote and I have a LONG MEMORY!

They are hungry for money. I was waiting for parking in Wolli Creek. These ranger came with the car doing the video with his mobile. After 2 days they send me a double park fine .
How doughy is that? Why didn’t he give notice on the spot. They think this is China.

The staff are not pleasant or polite. The women on the front counter seem bent on making problems rather than solutions. They have no notion of customer service and appeared to believe that I was wating their time being there.

Absolute waste of time calling these guys! Left my name and number twice now-can not access my house due to a tree on the nature strip breaking off branches on my footpath and stairs. "Customer Service" have no advice for me on who can help....... awesome-thanks guys!

Each week for a period of 2 months I was told that my very basic Dual Occupancy DA application would be "finalised by the end of the week"... for 2 whole months. Absolute joke.

They are so short staffed that planners have double the usual workload apparently... I guess if they can save money on wages and cost ratepayers because of their delays, they should at least offer a discount on the fees they charge.

had a lovely time out back but make sure you bring lube next time and I need a little more than terry's small little grape. But over all still had a good time 10/10 would root terry again.

Aren't we lucky to have an amalgamated council in Bayside. We can now enjoy it taking twice as long to have resident matters addressed - if at all!

I did not like the way I was treated last time I inquired about the destruction of a public reserve from their cause on purpose and suddenly have "No money" to ground the dead tree stumps even though they had enough money to send in resources to destroy the place so we all know that's a load of nonsense. Council are responsible for damages yet they do not bother to notify surrounding residents of public parks of tree removal which is something they should do and are very slow when they are needed to help clean up their mess.

I like this library very much, finally someplace to calm down and do things peacefully.
