Friendly and efficient is the name of the game at Bayswater... I think it took about 6 minutes to get the rental contract done and I was the on the street. Good idea to check how you get onto the east distributor before leaving the premises on maps.... took me a couple go goes to get around the local tight streets. Be right for next time :-)

I have been using Bayswater Car Rentals for about 6 years and have found them excellent. Cars are clean and well maintained. There are also no hidden charges with a low excess. I will continue to use. Booking on line is very straight forward and quick. Upon arriving to collect the car only show current licence and credit card and away you go. AUD$8 for full insurance cover is the best in the business

Cheap and affordable rental cars. All fleets are Toyota cars and very recent models. Insurance covers are the cheapest of all rental cars providers. Helpful customer service. It's my primary go to rental cars for my domestic holiday.

Apart from simply having no-nonsense and economical rentals the team in King's Cross was amazingly helpful upon return this time. Having bean led astray by Google Maps (for the first time) in the warren of one-way and 'no-left-turn' streets as well as getting stuck behind some firetrucks when returning the car we missed (several) airport shuttle slots and were starting to cut it very close. Though I was very tense by that time, hating to cut things tight, the team was calm and professional and arranged an additional ride to the airport for the family. Perfect service, much appreciated.

The car, a Toyota Corolla, was very good and the price competitive. Online booking is very efficient and fast. Service at the office was a bit slapdash, however. The member of staff who dealt with me spoke poor English and made no real effort to help a new customer understand their systems. Nor did I appreciate being told it would take five working days to transfer my deposit back to my account which should normally only take a matter of hours. This took the shine off an otherwise good experience.

The best car rental in town. Smooth pick up and return. The fleet that they have are top notch! I took the Corolla Sedan and it's new, fuel-efficient, affordable and comfy. Overall, nothing bad can be said about the company! Strongly recommended!

Straight forward to pick up and drop car off. Very competitive prices. Car well maintained. No real complaints. Only comments would be the Tarago I rented did not have reversing censors/cameras so it wasn't as easy to drive as similar cars from other provides like Hertz and Thrifty and also they do not install the car seats for you. Not a complaint, just a factual comment.

I have rented cars regularly for over a few year's now. I tried all the majority of Car Hire Companies in Sydney and have never felt like I as a customer was being looked after more so taken advantage of.

But No Birds puts their customer's first, their pricing, outstanding accident cover, ease of use and great staff makes No Birds by far the most excellent Car Hire Company around.

My wife and I always have our annual holidays in Sydney since the last number of years. We have always used Bayswater Cars without fail. Good cars and good packages. Our last holiday was over the Xmas holidays recently. I had made my reservation online. On the actual day I was attended to by an Gentleman and he was just great. When I returned the car I was handled by a lady and she was just as great. No hassels. No problems . Your staff Lek and I have made friends for a few years now. So I am in familiar territory. Until the next visit. Cheers.

The man at the counter on the day I collected my car was helpful and polite. However, the lady at the counter when I returned the car was not that friendly. The car price was affordable and car was in a clean and good condition. Value for money.

The lady at the customer service desk who processed my rental on the day was kind and helpful. So that initial experience was good. The experience with getting the $500 credit card hold released was not so good. It took more than the 5-7 days Bayswater said it would take for the hold to be lifted off my credit card, which is crazy since with other car rental companies like Avis or Hertz, it's done in 3 days. But now I discover that my card was actually charged the $500 plus the daily hire rate! And if the other reviews on here are to go by, it will probably take Bayswater forever to refund me the $500. In the meantime, that's actually costing me money. If I can give these guys half a star, I would!

Rented a car from Artarmon location. Super easy, cars always in good condition, staff polite and efficient. No complications, watching the costs of hire increase as you get bombarded with a myriad of insurance options. Simple model, reliable cars, easy insurance, very competitive prices.

After reading lots of bad reviews, I rented a car from Artarmon Bayswater Car Rental with some misgivings. The online booking and pick up was easy, the car in very good condition, drop off was seamless and the staff were very polite. I had no complaints at all. I then rented another car from them but this time decided not to take the extra insurance to reduce the excess. Big mistake as I realised on day 2 that the windscreen had cracked at some point during the first days rental. I pointed it out on return and was told that I had to pay the $1000 excess which I felt was a bit unfair as it was way over the actual cost of replacing the windscreen. However it was my own fault for not taking the extra insurance. Within an hour of leaving the car rental, they had phoned me to say that I would only have to pay the actual cost of replacement. Needless to say I was very pleased and impressed. I would have no hesitation in recommending Bayswater Car Rental at Artarmon with the caveat to ALWAYS take the extra insurance to reduce your excess to 0.

No birds is a very professional car rental agency that is extremely easy to deal with. Their simple and transparent T&Cs is something I personally like because I don't have to worry about any hidden costs or clauses at any stage. I would highly recommend Bayswater for a hassle free car hire so one can enjoy their drives without any worry.

It was so easy to get our car rental. A smooth experience, and the prices from Bayswater were excellent, incredibly competitive. The car was clean, and had no issue for the days we used it. The GPS unit however was a little problematic, so when we returned the car, we mentioned it to the staff -- and got a full refund immediately on the total cost for the GPS rental! We will definitely use Bayswater Car rental again when we need a vehicle for our travels.

An excellent and easy experience from booking through to return of vehicle. Great value for money and the zero excess option well worth the $8 a day. Our family has used 'no birds' several times now on our visits to Australia and will certainly do so again. Staff at Artarmon have always been very polite and helpful.

We will be using Bayswater Car Rental again on our next visit to Sydney.. Our new Corolla was great to zip around Sydney. Economical and Bayswater pricing is so much cheaper with quality vehicles. Staff are very helpful.

We have used Bayswater Car rental on a couple of trips back to Sydney and found them to be excellent and accommodating. The Corolla is a great little car, some cool features, very economical and easy to drive. We used their Artarmon Office this trip due to lack of available cars at Kings Cross for our last minute booking, but found this no problem just a short walk from St Leonards station. We will defiantly be using Bayswater and note with interest they are opening a branch in Mascot.

The cheapest car hire around, especially when you factor in the $8 a day zero excess.

Great service. Cars in good condition. We needed to bring our car back a few days earlier than we had expected and they were able to refund the difference. Would definitely recommend them to others.
