very poor service, 55 min wait and still waiting there is a max of 20 people in the whole vicinity, for a simple chicken snitz and fish and chips, no wait told to us.. very poor service i work in the hospitality industry have done now for over 5 years.. management needs to step in and pick the leval of service up
A great spot for a cold beer on a hot day! The outdoor courtyard is fantastic. Outdoor entertainment in summer would be a bonus!
Arrived in Batemans Bay on a motorcycle trip and needed somewhere inexpensive to stay. Rooms are very basic, with shared bathrooms and showers, but if you just need somewhere to stay overnight the beds are fine. Pub has a great atmosphere and the bistro food is yum.
Love their food and tbe play area for the kidlets is an awesome idea
I have been going to the Bayview on Saturday night for a number of months now and have found the staff very friendly; and the venue relaxing. My scotch fillet, chips and vegetables (with mushroom sauce) is always enjoyable; and complimented with a Carlton Dry. The outdoor bistro, with big screen TV offers patrons an added attraction, with also, some outdoor lounge style seating if you prefer the more 'chilled' feel.
I'm not keen on disco, so the side bar is ideal if you want a more low key atmosphere to relax. The Jukebox has a large range of music enabling you to disappear from the adjoining disco. Led Zeppelin, Doors, Stones, Nirvana to name just a view of my favourite choices. Remember 'Stairway to Heaven?'
Holistically, the Bayview offers inclusiveness for a range of ages and ideologies, and with friendly staff, it is my positive choice to enjoy an escape....on Saturday nights. Congratulations Bayview management and staff, you are doing great!!
