Our platform will allow students in regional parts of Australia to receive the same level of supplemental education as students in the major capitals, balancing the education landscape and providing further growth opportunities in these communities. Tutors can teach anytime they wish and build a strong profile over time. Tutors in regional parts of Australia will have the ability to expand their student base and compete with tutors in urban centres. Specifically for parents and students, tutoring via agencies can be expensive with unpredictable results. Tutoring is an unregulated industry without simple checks on qualifications, experience, and working with children. As a result, parents spend a lot of time vetting private tutors. Student feedback from tutoring often involves informal conversations and loose notes, making it difficult for parents to see their children's progress. Tutors have no effective channel to market their business. Existing marketplaces are typically focused on selling listings rather than student learning outcomes. Tutors earn a reduced income working within agencies due to the high commission model. Delivering online lessons are costly and arduous.
