Bellagio By The Sea

The room I stayed in was not well maintained. The walls were showing paint flakes and wall damage that was done a long time ago. I also had a serious problem checking in. My electronic key would not allow me access to my room and it took 45 minute to sort out the issue with the unmaintained software that activates the electronic keys. Management had to set back the date several days to get the key to work. Also - you ca only checkin between 3 and 6pm, which may not be convenient.

Pretty good experience so far (half way through stay). Two bedroom garden facing room is nice and quiet and with 2 people it comes out as a good bargin on price. Love the pool and gym.

The property is clean and tidy but ould do with a little more maintenance/love.

Absolutely horrendous staff and place. During my stay they shut the power off on us and never reinstated it. They took $500 off my credit card without my authorisation days after I checked out - when I called to ask on what grounds the money was taken I got told a manager would call me back and they never did. I sent email after email requesting the reason and no one bothered to even email back. I lodged a complaint with fair trading and the Bellagio STILL didn't reply to them! I now have to pay $50 to lodge a complaint with the tribunal and take the matters further. Absolutely disgusted with this and cannot believe they've gotten away with stealing off me!!!

The room was large & had great amenities- however the oven & cookware were absolutely filthy. Also, no wifi was available when we stayed with absolutely no apologies from reception staff or offer of any kind of solution. The furniture on the balcony was worn & in tatters. The reception girl was exceptionally rude and unapologetic with zero people skills. For the amount you pay to stay here, it hardly seems worth it.

I stayed in a room facing the mountain behind.
Nice place by the water at Collaroy.
Room is a serviced apartment with Miele appliances. Pretty sweet.
Balcony is large and is a nice spot to relax.
Bedroom is a decent size with a queen bed and TV.
Living room is pleasant and feels quite new.
Not sure what the other reviews are all about- the rooms were clean and small milk cartons are provided in the fridge fir tea or coffee.
One thing I would suggest is a tissue box in the kitchen.

Overall a pleasant stay. Will be back!

Lies in description. This room was advertised as 75 sq with a king size bed but was actually less than 50sqm with a double bed or possibly a queen. Coffee and tea but no milk. TV remote didn't work. Big writing on reception door told me to return keep in slot. Small writing near lift on 12th line said that before returning keys I should drive out (presumably park blocks away) walk back in and then return keys in the slot. My car was trapped, there was a number to ring which said that I would be charged $100 for assistance. Luckily another guest let me out. This place could have been nice if they told the truth and didn't have basil Fawlty as senior management. Garage is so narrow that my wife's tiny tiny car barely cleared the sides, my prius wouldn't have fitted.

Very invasive security. Car space not offered

Smoke alarm needed attention. Toilet pan cracked and leaking. Water damage with debris on the floor in laundry. Aircon cuts out after 10 min. Although reception friendly did not offer to fix.
