A week to go for Bellingen Community Markets. Saturday 18 August Bellingen Park comes alive with community collaboration; stall diversity, excellent music, kids entertainment and delicious food. There's something for everyone to enjoy and well worth a visit to beautiful Bellingen.

Thinking of visiting beautiful Bellingen? With one week to go for Bello Markets, everything is shaping up nicely for a great day on the 21st. With a full park of diverse market stalls, excellent live music, buskers at every corner and a dedicated helpful community group we are looking forward to a super, sunny, spectacular day.
Music is by musical trio Jim, Sue and Greg. Jim and Sue have been performing their heartfelt original songs, and carefully selected covers together fo...r more than 8 years. Their style could be described as acoustic folk, sometimes with a dash of soft rock, sometimes with a hint of country, blended with their beautiful vocal harmonies. Jim plays acoustic guitar, mandolin and Sue djembe, sometimes mandolin, guitar.
Jim and sue were 2013 finalists in the ABC Exhumed competition which culminated in a live performance on ABC radio, and performed with other finalists for ABC television at Bellingen NSW. To hear their music click on below links

Our Saturday 21st July Market is fast approaching. With all the rain of late, its looking great for good weather.
Are you a local artist? craft person? a maker, baker, grower, upcycler? mover and shaker? Do you have something unique to sell? Something important to share with the community? Are you a community group wanting to raise funds?
Bellingen Community Markets attracts thousands of visitors keen to see more hand made creations, more locals, more community groups.... The event is an opportunity to showcase your talents, wares, and group as you mingle with like minded creative, supportive and environmentally caring people.
With over 260 stall spaces, we want to fill it with "wow" and give our visitors an unforgettable, positive experience. Along with our wonderful existing stallholders, we need you to make that happen.
We always have a variety of multicultural food, drinks and coffee along with excellent live music on the main stage and buskers around park.
The atmosphere is electric, energised with good people, great products and services, vibrant colour, majestic trees and surrounding creeks. You will love it - as we all do.

We had a wonderful day at Bello Markets Saturday 16th June. The sun was shining, people were smiling, the atmosphere was stunning.

Bellingen Community Markets is held on the 3rd Saturday of every month and is an all weather event.
The primary focus is to showcase local art, craft, hand made and grown products, fresh produce and a smorgasbord of multicultural foods, drinks and mega entertainment.
With over 260 diverse, colourful stalls the park comes alive with music, artisans, craftspeople, growers, recyclers, buskers, masseuses, various services and community groups.
... From 8am – 2pm the atmosphere is abuzz with social engagement, trading, product knowledge and pride in creation, produce, product and service.
Local and national musicians play live on the main stage from 10am and buskers share their voices and talent throughout the park along with spontaneous entertainment.
The energy and enthusiasm is abundant, contagious in collaboration and celebration of our beautiful Bellingen and beyond community.

Bellingen Community Markets LOST PROPERTY
Sadly, every month we end up with a stack of lost property. This month (from Sat 16 June) we have a set of keys and a lovely girls bag which contains a beautiful diary, brush and other (see pic). If you know anyone who belongs to these items please let them and us know.
We will keep lost property for 2 weeks and if no one claims we give to local op shop. Thanks :-)

Its all happening this Saturday 16 June from 8am - 2pm.
Bello Markets comes alive with over 260 diverse,colourful stalls and lot's of excellent entertainment.
Live music on stage from 10am with the Cheynne Murphy Band, in between music will be All 4 Dance Bello showcasing their groovy new moves, and busking over the park we have Wolfgang Michael all the way from Germany and the lovely Indiah Rose, plus many other spontaneous talented souls.
... The Kalang Rural Fire Brigade are our wonderful community group of the month and will be helping us ensure the days flows smoothly and safely. You will find them at the gates humbly asking for donations, so please support them.
AND have we got food !! Its a smorgasbord of eat in and take away multicultural delights, delicious homemade products, local fresh produce, unique inspiring creations, many quality goods, recycling, upcycling and alternative therapies.
There's pony rides, sand painting, a jumping castle and swings for the kids along with a huge football oval to run around.
AND to top it off nicely it's going to be a sunny winters day. A perfect day to drive to beautiful Bello, Visit the markets and the many shops and cafe's in town, check out the Never Never and Promised Land. There's something for everyone.
Bello Markets is proud to be inclusive and diverse. Not only is it a market place. it's a GREAT place to be every 3rd Saturday of the month.

The Cheynne Murphy Band plays live on the mainstage from 10am at Bellingen Community Markets 16 June 2018
His musical journey is inspired by the idea of sitting around campfires, singing songs with nothing but acoustic guitars, a few friends, and the crackle of a fire, all good for the heart and soul.
Cheynne took this inspiration and debuted his first EP titled “Firesongs for the Soul” at Byron Bay’s Bluefest in the company of giants such as Ben Harper, Michael Franti and Ja...ck Johnson. Cheynne’s debut album ‘A Horse Called Freedom’ produced with Paul Pilsneniks (Angus Stone, Jeff Martin, Bernard Fanning) was released with critical acclaim in 2014 with Country update magazine describing the album as ‘at once ambling and cinematic’;
Rhythms magazine commending its ‘shimmering production and instrumentation’; and The Courier Mail commented on the ‘tight band, sighing harmonies and evocative guitar’. The follow up album Celtic Heart, inspired by a song-writing session on the West Coast, of Ireland resulted in an inspirational acoustic folk rock ode to Cheynne’s Grandfather and Celtic ancestral roots.
Rhythms magazine described it as “a big warm sprawling folk rock record. Unpretentiously earnest”. With growing critical acclaim, national radio airplay and television performances, and some big festivals appearances, Cheynne has just returned from a tour to China playing at an international music festival and is releasing the title track of his new album Headlights and Goodbyes, June 2018.
With such a busy schedule we are fortunate to have the Cheynne Murphy Band join us, so hope you get a chance to visit and hear them live.

Wolfgang Michael, born and raised in the little German city Würzburg and visiting our Australian shores. While living in Berlin he composed his de...but record “My River Down the Lane” including his song “Rustling Trees” that quickly gained worldwide attention.
