Awesome place to camp. Great spot shame you can't have a camp fire :(

Great spot for weekend time out of the city. Free camping, amazing hiking trails nearby, and full of wombats at night.

very clean and large campground. under surveillance, wildlife all over the camp - vombats. free. only con is no fires.

This place is very remote. Not much things to do here except kayaking n just idleing. Toilet, drinking water is available. But no shower. It's OK I guess. Very windy (80km wind) when we were there. Better check for the weather/ bus fire warning before coming here.

Nice place for a free group camping. Toilets are there as well. You can sometimes see plenty of Kangaroos and some Wombats as well. There is also a river there if you want to do some water activities (not sure about the quality of the water).

Free camp sits on the banks of the Kangaroo River, its wide open lush spaces is the perfect spot to relax and get back to nature. Take special care of Bare-nosed wombats. No showers but toilets are ok. Missing star is for no dogs.

Good place for camping & well worth the visit.
