Latest update 2: I've recently used the guys again for a couple of minor issues which they helpfully to on and attempted to resolve. Completely and thoroughly they attempted to address my engine starting and running issues but were unable to determine cause. I wasn't unhappy with what they did, in fact quite the opposite. They also fixed a tyre issue I had with a tyre that was onky about a 1000 kms old. But what truly amazed me was that they didn't charge me a cent for all the things they did. I really wasn't expecting that. In fact it has renewed my respect for these guys and I cannot rate them highly enough. A major turn around for me and them.

Latest Update: I'm willing to give people a chance to correct a situation and so when I spoke to Craig, who apologised and offered to fix what happened, I accepted. Globe problems for both vehicles were resolved. He's actually gone out of his way to fix everything properly and wouldn't take payment for doing so even though I know he's out of pocket. Craig is a decent and honorable person and I know look forward to me third interaction.

Previous Update: Took my partners car in for a service and pink slip. The only thing wrong was a blown tail light. Guess what, the tail light wasn't fixed, the front tyres which had only been put on 18-20 months/10,000kms prior, needing replacing.

I should've learnt from my first experience and never gone back, but, you know, you want to give people the benefit of the doubt... Plus support local people, but, yep, once again, no rego pink slip would be awarded unless two new tyres were fitted. Is there a trend here? Disappointing really.

Initial Review: Overall, the customer service was OK. I went in for a Pink Slip but it wouldn't be awarded until I replaced the tyres. The tyres were close to TWI but not illegal (I have photos to prove it), but I was even told by one of the employees "they only had about 5,000kms left in them..." (or 10% based on my 53,000kms) "so I should replace them anyway..." and, I was told "they wouldn't award the Pink Slip unless replacement tyres were fitted".

Nice work - nothing like unnecessary costs to ruin the customer relationship!!

Why do I think this is a poor situation? They were Continental High Performance tyres. The model of tyre doesn't have edge tread, instead has shallow sips like many European manufactured sport performance tyres. (go ahead, look them up, they hardly have any cross-reference tread grooves either, instead use mainly circumference grooves). Sure the tyres were worn, but these were the original tyres on the car and the car had done about 53,000kms, and 49,500kms had been done up to early 2015 when I bought it. I put on less than 2,000kms per year on this car, so effectively I had another 2.5 yrs left in my tyres. But apparently that doesn't matter, and if I wanted my car back, and wanted the Pink Slip issued, (it was due the next day), I needed to buy tyres. So instead of a $38 bill, I got a $590 bill. Not only that, they put the wrong size tyres on the car and then needed to order new ones. Not a big issue, more of an inconvenience.

The funny thing is, they didn't pick up on the two blown bulbs (tail light and number plate) that needed replacing, so you have to ask "are they really that competent?" What else was missed?

Turned up for Rego Inspection which I had booked in. Stood in reception for 15 mins waiting for someone to acknowledge the 3 of us waiting. In the end found a mechanic outside and told him. He went off and found someone. When I was dealt with I was then told that the ONLY guy who could do the Inspection was out on a job. I asked why they didn't call me and she replied "yeah I should have done that". Walked out advising them I will go somewhere else

Nice stuff, were totally busy and they still took the time to listen and squeeze my car in.
