I was looking at the pictures of a few 2016-2017 Nissan Elgrand Highway Star offered at the auctions this week. Still not available for import to Australia but it won't hurt to see what the future holds for us hopefully...
Most of them were 8 seats and quite nice 👌
Outside new HWS looks more contemporary due to a face lift and a few tweaks. Same boring colours though..
... Still half leather, but material looks nicer in the middle of the seat... I spotted tailgate button and radar cruise control on all of them 🔥 Current 2010-2012 that we are importing hardly ever come with these two options especially on 8 seater.
BTW, all of 2016-2017 Elgrands were unsold, meaning the bids were not high enough and desired price wasn't reached.

This is what I call TOO MUCH... even red leather seats from last week fade in comparison ... Auction report is 4C and states " wine colour substitution" ... Though it would work great for a movie or promo ad!

I am driving to Sydney airport tomorrow morning to pick up my customers from Gold Coast. Love my short escapes from the office but getting to a designated T2 and T3 Pick Up area is always a quest for me 😅
Hoping the weather clears up, since the rain will substantially decrease my chances of finding the soaking customers in time 😂

Good morning, everyone! This car was sold at 1,245,000 yen! 🤑🤦‍♀️🤪. More than double for a decent 2008. Ha ha ha, we missed it like by 5k😂😂😂

At the auctions tomorrow: Nissan Elgrand Highway Star 2008 AWD with 4,5 A grade 🎊 and 14,358km only 🤔
It's like 1,435km a year. Special vehicle for snow retreat once a year ??? Not bad...

Fab Nissan Elgrand Highway Star 2018 sold yesterday @ 2,683Y in Japan. Roughly AUD 33,500 only 💖
3,5L V6, sunroofs. Perfect grade 5AA. Mileage? 511m as in 511 meters, peeps!
What can I say 🤔 Very very cheap... It would retail under 55K here in Sydney, including everything I can think of. Amazing deal for a brand new luxury 7 seater.
... Unfortunately, 2018 year model still not eligible to import to Australia.

Last Friday was a game changer. My friend Irina Dee Photographer was going to Tulip Top Gardens near Sutton and I was itching to test new cruise on Nissan Elgrand E52. And what a great opportunity it was to check petrol consumption of this big girl on a highway… a perfect excuse to drop everything and just drive.

🔴 No Cruise Control?!!! 🔴
I keep hearing the same question for the last 10 years: “ Are you for real?! How come top of the range people movers don't come with a cruise? Here in Australia even mid range cars have this option!”🤷‍♀️🤷‍♂️
Well, Japan is a very cute and small country with some of the best bullet 🚄🚄🚄 in the world. If the first owner is not planning to drive long distances, they are not going to pay a few $$$ for something they won’t need.
... This is why Cruise Control is only a factory option on Nissan Elgrands... for the rare breed who rejects fantastic comfort of 🚄 and prefers to drive... Like my dad for example: he is very happy to drive his Pajero for thousands of kilometres even in the wilderness of Russian taiga. Give him a Japanese highway and he won’t stop🤣
For those who MUST buy with a cruise, keep calm, we have Ben from Star Auto Sound, who installs them by request 😉
