Great hotel, good location, clean and tidy rooms. Very helpful staff.

All what you need in one place. Excellent staff. Excellent quality rooms and room service. Full bar and restaurant. Food is great and menu is awesome. Very recommended for long stays. Also has a pool and nice basic gym.

Went here for a training day. Room was very small but the facilities were good. Lunch was nice and plenty of it. Overall nice feel.

Great hotel, clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. Excellent service. Great food. Our family of four (kids aged 8 and 9) only stated a night but wish we could have stayed longer. Absolute highlight was being visited by the kookaburras on our balcony. I even got to pat one!

Great service and friendly staff backed up by top quality clean rooms. Would 100% recommend staying here! Staff also bothered to fulfill my special room request which was both hilarious and also much appreciated as its never done!

I've stayed here on 3 different occasions. First time was great, no complaints! Second time we came back to our room door open, no explanation as to how it happened. I paid for a safe and secure room. Third time we had a horrible stench in our room (room #216), we were interrupted 4 times to have this fixed, all the while trying to get my baby and myself ready for a funeral. Also lamps were very dusty. I paid for a clean, comfortable room. Unfortunately I will not be returning here again. On the plus side reception staff were nice. Buffet breakfast delicious and nice bush setting.

Picked up the accommodation through Groupon and enjoyed a free bottle of wine $30 dollars off dinner and a nice comfortable room. The bed was king sized are the room very spacious.. I have stayed in some top of the line 5 stars that could take a few pages from this hotels book. The staff are nice and friendly from the hotel staff to the restaurant staff. The bathroom is modern and the balcony has a nice outlook to some trees. I was initially concerned with it being on the side of the main road but was surprised at how quiet it was once in my room. And I am very sensitive to noise when trying to sleep. Would recommend staying here again.

Large rooms with balcony and all modern decor. Had issues with Breakfast included in tariff but not placed on list but staff rectified immediately and again inconsiderate patrons making excessive noise in early hours of morning after a function at the hotel.

Shower needed a thorough clean though and unpleasant odour coming from floor grate when showering.

Breakfast is great. Staff are wonderful attentive and professional. Will return to this Hotel and recommend it highly to others for a great room at a terrific price

Great hotel for an overnight stop. Very comfy beds and a nice outlook onto the trees behind. Very quiet night's sleep.

Loved the honeymoon suite. Spa is the best! We're locals and we'll definitely be back for another relaxing evening. Best value for money in Newcastle.

Stayed and eaten a number of times. Experienced friendly & welcoming staff, comfortable and clean accommodation plus good food. Hotel is in a handy location with plenty of off-street hotel parking providing easy access to hotel facilities and rooms. While also attending business lunches, family events and conferences held in the hotel I have enjoyed similar positive experiences.

A great stay at the Best Western, and from check-in to check-out the team were polite, courteous and professional - and the rooms were spacious and catered for every need. I would most certainly stay once again at this hotel if I'm in the Charlestown area as its great value-for-money and is in a prime location within walking distance of the town centre.
