Beverly Hills Intensive English Centre

Beverly Hills Intensive English Centre is a NSW Department of Education Special High School which aims at meeting the needs of newly arrived students who speak a language other than English at home.

The Centre offers a wide range of subjects in small classes with an emphasis on achieving an English level which will enable the student to function effectively in mainstream high school or TAFE courses. Every student leaving the Centre is given Educational and Vocational guidance so that a decision can be made about further study or future employment.

Beverly Hills I. E. C. is both a learning and adjustment centre, facilitating the transition to further education and ensuring the best possible beginning to life in a new system. The centre promotes intercultural understanding by educating its culturally diverse student population in English language skills and understandings for effective lifelong learning and participation in Australian and global society.
