We grow, harvest and craft sustainable giant bamboo. We don't grow any garden varieties here, all we have is Big Arse (clumping) Bamboo! Hand crafted.

Welcome to Bishop's Creek, a multiple occupancy of 1200 acres surrounded by World Heritage NP's in a 2m rainfall area. Beautiful rainforest walks & pristine creeks at our doorstep. Our home is run on solar & there are outbuildings made of bamboo. We welcome WWOOFers with a sense of humour & enthusiasm to learn & work with us. Every day is an adventure! WWOOFers with an interest or expertise in bamboo & alternative energy are encouraged to visit. Work includes all aspects of commercial bamboo farming, harvesting, trimming, thinning & propagation. Accommodation for 2 in our bamboo Bhatak or campervan. Mixed diet shared with Hosts smoking outside. Wifi. Negotiable stays after first few days.
