Staff are useless and rude. Miserable witch in the changing room is definitely unskilled in customer service. I love me some Plumpton Big W though :D

Never shop here again. Me and my partner used to come here a lot and spend maybe 30 mins in the store and mind you good customers as well by not making a mess in the store, not making staff pick up after us, even using self serve check outs so someone doesn't have to serve us ! We spent a few hundred dollars in half an hour on clothes for our baby not to mention nappies and wipes and one staff member followed us for about 20 mins of hat half an hour we were in the store making it really uncomfortable for us to even talk about what we wanted to do for the rest of the afternoon. My partner even picked up an item on the way to the checkout and the lady following us snatched it out of her hand before she could make the descison on if she wanted it or to put it back. I regret even spending a cent in the store. I should have filled my trolley up more than left it for the lady to put all of it back. I won't spend another dollar here

Staff in entertainment chat together to much behind counter and never help

The worst customer service I have ever seen. After spending over a thousand dollars in home entertainment, I grab yet another thousand dollars worth of home items. When I asked if this was the only register open, I was informed that it was closing, "go serve yourself " once they did open a register for me and thirty other people, the screen didn't show what I was buying, I asked how do I know I am getting the specials I bought, I was told "check at the end " on arriving to my car to check my docket, as I didn't want to hold everyone else up, not one of the special prices went through. See you soon BigW, to get my money back, after that never again

Great quality clothes and items with plenty of space for browsing. Shop is always kept very well maintained and tidy.

Big W is Big W, what can I say. The store is very much like every other Big W, which is kind of the point.

They have lots of stuff, and you can probably find something you are looking for, as well as stuff you aren't :-)

Only problem I've experienced here is twice having to wait 10mins for someone to come to service at the party section. This Big W is great but all Big W's are more pricey than #kmart

Good sized store with the usual items you'd find in other bigger stores. It's in a good location just of the Pacific highway.

Want to thank Jason Henry the store manager of Raymond Terrace that went out of his way today to show and explain a product to me .There should be more store managers like him that a willing to get their hands dirty.

Worst customer service ever I had with layby of BIGW. Behaviour of staffs unacceptable.

Excellent pricing but very hard to find staff to help with products. They need to hire more staff.

Bought 2 pairs of glasses from very limited range. Took more than a week to make it. After getting the text message saying my glasses are ready and no mention of they close at 5 (although the store is open till 9) I went there yesterday 7:30 and got very disappointed. Spoke to manager Dylan and expressed my disappointment as no where mentions that your optical department closes earlier than your store, unfortunately fallen to the deaf ears. A big store like this should have been more customer focus. At least when they texted me they could include that they closes early. And managers should be more sympathetic to the customers.

Staff seem generally clueless about their own procedures. I've learnt that if one of them tells you that you can't do something or obtain a certain service - OBTAIN A SECOND OPINION. And make sure it's someone in authority.
Also don't bother trying to order online as they are worse than useless. You'll get no confirmation of your order until you either follow it up or it magically appears on your doorstep. Seemingly their delivery drivers are either unwilling or unable to use doorbells so pray to any deity you wish if you don't want your package to go walking.

Like any other Big W in the suburbs, this Big W is quite large, it also has a garden for you to buy plants.

I love the kids area where they put coloring table for them keeps them busy while I am shopping

Couldn't find Christmas tree at the shop, they have some other trees, but no Christmas trees for sale, very disappointed.

One time I bought 2 toys for my kids at the counter they put them in one bag I asked the man to give me another bag and he refused he was very rude.

How do people get the jobs here some staff are good, the store is nice but most staff are deaf and blind, not literally, I agree with the other reviews they ignore u have bad attitude and just look in the ceiling like there's no worry I. The world when there is a huge line of people asking which checkout is cash or card for the self serve, however the staff checkouts are quite good. Lots of improvements needed and especially HR.

Scanned my item at the self-serve checkout because there was nobody at the counter. There was an error message saying 'assistance required' so I waited for assistance. The staff member next to me ignored me several times so I ended up buying nothing because I couldn't pay. Keep this up and you will end up like your other abortions, Dick Smith and Masters.

Clean, good service and variety of goods

Terrible customer service. Was shifted around on hold for 15 minutes. Ended up giving up because they were so hopeless and couldn't look up a simple request.

I pre ordered some helium balloons a couple of weeks ago for pick up at 0900am on Friday 1st Sept. I did this a couple of weeks before the date because I know I had a busy day. I told the attendee that I may arrive just before 9, and she assured me that someone would be available to blow up the balloons. However, when I arrived at Big W Blacktown at 845am, nobody knew how to do it. A couple of staff members attempted to figure it out, but I was told that there was nobody until 10am that could do it. I was ropable and had to leave as I didn't have time to wait around. I was offered a refund and a box of chocolates, but that's not good enough. Why does big W even have the party section if nobody can service that section? I did the right thing and pre arranged & paid for the balloons but Big W did not deliver. Whatever you do, avoid booking anything in the party section to avoid dissappointment on your special occasion

Horrible customer service, especially it you're served by the old ladies. Don't smile and treat you like you're stupid even when they're in the wrong.

I go to this store almost every time I am at Blacktown and the staff are almost always nice and helpful.

Terrible customer service, I rang asking if they had a book in stock, then hung up on me. I thought it may be a connection problem so I rang again and asked the same thing, then she said I was very rude and a idiot for ringing again and she told me to piss off

Visited the party store and the lady staff present there was very friendly. She gave lots of ideas for my son's birthday party and really appreciate her service. She went above and beyond to help out a confused customer :-)

Phillip from the digital counter was fantastic, patiently explain to me how to operate photo kiosk and showed me a few different options. His patience and helpful nature brought me a great experience in your store.

Staff need to be trained regarding the telephone service...eventually received my enquiry met after being disconnected and recalling with a 8 min on hold. All good in the end.

Phoned to speak to Electrical department re a TV and was put through to their extension a few times but no one answered I was waiting on the phone for that department for 7 minutes and then was disconnected. I can understand if it was a peak time but at 1-30pm on a Monday, I believe this to be unacceptable.

Only a few staff are good. The rest are absolutely disrespectful and i believe racist, cause everytime I've gone there, i get the death stares for no absolute reason... so id be more happy if those staff members got a warning and worked on their manners or simply boot them out..

Some staff are incapable of smiling and from their glum faces look as if they're being forced to work. This is more obvious on weekends where staff dodge you and try not to make eye contact. I also work in retail and understand that it can get tough at times but it shouldn't be consistant behaviour.

Great selection of Lego at present. Got some Christmas shopping done early.

The staff is really rude, I want make a complain about the staff name Crystal, because she made up the story about the customer. than she said she is the store manager. can't believe how can this unprofessional person can be a store manager. I think it's really not good for customer service. Are all the Bigw stores doing the same way to customers?

Asked about stock refills as there's never anything in stock that's advertised at a heavily discounted price & was told they don't know when stock comes in "it just comes in" which is a lie as I know you can check the system to see if something's been ordered. Just too lazy to check properly.

It's tucked away inside the Centre, which gives it a central presence. Average stocking of items. It's good for checking for out of stock specials, or quirky items where the busier Jesmond or Charlestown locations have sold out. Generally quieter and relaxed location, except for weekends and even then, far less traffic than Charlestown Square.

BIG W Mount Hutton always has the very best of customer service and has the best of anything you will ever need!

Apple/Android Pay accepted here. Amex contactless also works here as does EFTPOS tap and pay. Tried to visit on Queen's birthday and checked their hours (closes at 6pm). We showed up at 5:40pm and they were already closed. Then I checked the website again and it said 5pm.

Competitive pricing, conveniently in the heart of Campsie. Only drawback from my experience was the self-checkout machine wasn't fully cooperative with the larger items (can't get it scanned without assistance)

Regular Big W store like anywhere else though i must be coming in at the wrong times, they're usually out of stock on somethings or don't have as much variety as othet stores. Nevertheless the staff are friendly, approachable and actually help!

They have bad service they were in able to help me when the cashier machine swallowed my $20 and didn't give it back they told me to leave my number and if they count the amount in their and find that there is an extra $20 then they will call me to collect 😡😡😡 which made me really angry cause they acted as if they didn't believe me for , and I ended walking off !!! Bad bad bad experience never again .

One rude, hateful staffs person who is young and Middle Eastern looking dismissed me in a condescending manner when I asked for help. He waved his hands at my face and walked off. Probably a recent Syrian refugee.

I politely ask the crew member whether the hiring manager is available. Then the crew member asked me for a resume which I didn't, when I simply asked for minimum age to work. She said " I'm not to sure" then said " I'm to busy" in an attitude, having not to answer my simple question.

Went to the Big W in Wetherill Park last week and terribly disappointed at the customer service I received. I went to their party section to do a huge order of balloons for a company function. Not one person was at the counter; I rang the customer buzzer and still no reply. I proceeded to the front counter to ask if someone could serve me. The manager on duty after having a chat on the phone called someone over the speaker to meet me there. AGAIN NO ONE SURVED ME! I walked out of the store, to have a staff member, who heard me say that I'd be better off going to a store near by because they have no idea what they are doing.

Most difficult shoppingexperience of my life with big w

Product was unavailable online so decided to call to check stock. Had me waiting 10 minutes after which they hung up on me and never got an answer.

It is a good shopping mall n a very good food court.U can get almost everything under one roof n the parking on GF is free for the day n free for 3 hrs on all other levels.
