The new Bikefit app is a great aid in getting things right for bike setup. Pictured here is an ex pro downhill MTB rider with a bunch of old injuries. New saddle, shorter setup and 3 Bikefit leg length shims under the right cleat, will hopefully help him with a more comfortable ride for his daily commute!!

New research article for those with wear and tear in their knees. The British Journal of sports medicine has found "the small inconsequential benefit seen from interventions that include arthroscopy for the degenerative knee is limited in time and absent at 1 - 2 years after surgery".
In other words knee arthroscopy on worn cartilage for middle aged or older people may not be beneficial and has actually been shown to be associated with harm.
This goes against the modern medicine way of thinking. Anyone had a different experience?
