Bits & Boots Pony Rides

Bits & Boots club days are 3hour sessions. It has been introduced for our regular riders having lessons to meet other riders in a group lesson. Groups will be done on ability and horse availability. There are limited horses and limited places. Approx 12 riders to a session Beginner, Trotter lots & Intermediate groups. There will be 3 sessions on the day 2 ridden and 1 unmounted on horse care. $80/Rider

Today we would like to say good bye to Sarah for 12 month as her life is taking her on an adventure to England with her family. Over the last 18months Sarah has been at Bits & Boots I would like to say thank you on behalf of my horses and myself. Her knowledge in saddle fitting has taught me there is no one fits all saddle and it is such as important part of our horses comfort and overall back health. Her paitients and dedication to the horses and children have been second t...o none from the most fun loving moments. To you need a shove, this is going to happen moments being shared throughout her time. Personally Sarah become my back stop to discuss issues how we were going implement plans to fix moving legs, get through children mental blocks and all the other problems that pop up when dealing with the horse and rider. We spend a lot of time together and have become best friend. I will miss Sarah, but with modern technology we are only a message or skype away. Thank you for everything thing you bought to Bits & Boots and we can't wait to have you back in 12 months. Good Luck Sarah🐴💕

Fun intermediate group today. We chased cows, cracked whips, washed horses and our afternoon ride to the Fox & Brew was met with shock, with it being closed so off to the IGA for bubble o bills and ice creams.

Wow!! What an action packed school holidays we have had. We have been booked solid with heaps of great fun programs and great riding. The weather has been very kind to us and we have made the most of it. We have trail rode, horse swapped, dressed up, played games, cart rode, side saddled, visited the Fox & Brew, rode in the horse float, bare backed, Learnt about saddle and bridles, decorated and made collages. As well as fitting in club day and pony rides. It has been one of ...the most action packed school holidays and I know the children have had a fantastic time. A huge thank you to my off sider Sarah Packe and new face Jade Wenman due to huge booking numbers and all the buddies that help out on the day. Heidi Grayblock, Carlee Ryder, Hayley Amarant, Sian Cambell, Josh & Sophie O'Connor, Marieke Hoelscher, Rory Hamilton and Charlie Brinkworth. These helpers make the day a lot of fun and step up to a very responsible role and do it beautifully. Thank you

This group is for Children that are riding independently. They MUST be able to rising trot, stop and steer without assistance!! Riding and learning about horses in a safe fun environment. Basic Dressage, jumping, games and horse care and an afternnon run to The Fox & Brew with hot chocolate or ice cream included . Limited places. Must be school aged. Trail Ride from Bits & Boots Pony Rides to The Fox & Brew in Jindera. Must be an intermediate rider and be able to control your horse independently, be able to trot and stop. $70/rider We will be going into the middle of Jindera. No beginners on this ride. Time for an ice cream or hot chocolate and home to Bits & Boots Pony Rides we go.

Small group trail rides catered for beginners. Easy ride up a quiet lane. Ideal for the whole family, child or adult. All riders are matched and tried in an arena before heading out on the trail. Children that are not confident enough to ride by themselves will be lead from a leader on the ground. Grooming and tacking up is part of the experience. Horse, boots and helmets are provided, if you have your own boots and helmets please bring them. $65/rider Booking essential with paperwork and payment required before the day of the ride.
