Great place to stay. Very very clean. Wonderful and helpful staff. Food lovely.

Very good place to stay, good for families, very new and clean rooms and a great space for kids to play with a ball or ride their bikes after being stuck in a car for hours.

Nice new warm rooms. Friendly staff. Location is a little out of the way if visiting Lithgow

Lovely rooms, amazing food. Service was a little slow at breakfast for the number of people there. The kind staff made up for this. We had a great stay, I would certainly consider it again.

My daughter and I spent a night at Black Gold Motel this weekend. I was totally impressed with how clean and well appointed the rooms were. My little girl was thrilled and described it as "our own cottage". It was comfortable and quiet, aside from two trains which passed in the time we spent there. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. My daughter has special dietary requirements but the staff made sure she had a delicious dinner and breakfast the following morning. She even got a cuddle from the gorgeous little Lucy (4 months) which made her day! If you are after accommodation in a tranquil setting which is comfortable , clean and boasts amazing service, you won't be disappointed at Black Gold. I loved the historical influences behind the property and how the Motel has embraced the life of local miners in the area. We'll be back without a doubt.
