Black Yak Management Description
BLACKYAK management was established in the early 1990s to manage the career of Tim Freedman and has been managing The Whitlams since the bands inception. During that time, The Whitlams have played over 1500 shows and have had 2 Gold albums & 3 Platinum albums, including a #1 album on the Aria Charts. At the time of release the album Eternal Nightcap was the biggest selling independent album in Australian history, & the band went onto win 3 Aria awards including Best Group.
Over time, BLACKYAK management has grown & expanded it's roster where it now also manages the careers of Benjalu, Leena and Modular lounge.
On an international level our artists have either toured or been released in England, Ireland, France, Germany, Poland, Sweden, Canada, America and Japan.
