Blackfoot sound is a high quality isolated studio that boasts a Quad Eight (2082) console, Telefunken, Brook, Shadow Hills and OCL pre-amps, compressors and limiters and two Digidesign 192 converters. Control of the Pro Tools HD recording system is by way of a Control 24 console.
The studio was designed and built by Perfect Imperfection. With floating floors and no contact between connecting walls. The space is occupied by a centre control room flanked by two isolation rooms and a production suite. All four spaces are inter-connectable for true separation and there is a comprehensive Hearback monitoring system that allows up to 8 sends of foldback that can be controlled by the performer.
Ample lounge space is available along with a fridge, tea /coffee and internet access.
Blackfoot Sound also has a large collection of sound fx and a 40” monitor for use in audio to image applications.
