Two beautiful sisters, modelling two beautiful rings. These gorgeous women, who we are lucky enough to call our friends, are demonstrating how bigger can definitely be better with two of our amazing citrine rings! 💕💕💕

As the days start to get longer and hopefully warmer I thought I would welcome spring early with this gorgeous diamond daisy drop necklace. With almost a carat of Diamonds set in 18ct white gold, it oozes the elegance of the era it has come from…1935. In store and online now. 🌹

The icy weather we had here in the Blue Mountains yesterday has inspired my instagram post today…A cabochon Sapphire and diamond bracelet from the 1920s. Set in Platinum and 14ct yellow gold, this little darling is sure to beat the winter chill. In store now, ladies!

Simple, Sweet and Elegant. The 3 words I would use to describe this gorgeous diamond daisy cluster ring from the 1920s! Pop in store today and check it out!

We are a bunch of hopeless romantics here at Blackheath Jewellery, and that’s why nothing makes us happier than when two beautiful souls come together. It is a magical moment that you remember forever and the lovely Nathalie and Ben have been kind enough to shared theirs with us. Congratulations to you both and may your life be filled with love and happiness! @ Blackheath Jewellery in Leura

Ladies, feast your eyes! A gorgeous 1930s signed Hardy Bros. Asscher cut Diamond Ring with 6 baguette emeralds and 12 diamonds on the shoulders all set in platinum. But you know what the icing on the cake is.. it comes in its original box!!!! 💕

In 1840, Prince Albert presented Queen Victoria with an engagement ring depicting an entwined snake which symbolised his eternal love for her. This lead to the snake becoming a romantic symbol with men buying rings and bracelets featuring snakes for their wives and brides choosing to wear snake necklaces on their wedding day. We are lucky to have 3 examples of this Victorian trend in store now! 💕

“She said yes!” Those were the first words I saw yesterday when I read the lovely message from our client Daniel, after he proposed to his girlfriend Renee, over the weekend. We would like to say a big CONGRATULATIONS to the beautiful couple and wish them a life time of love and happiness together from the Blackheath Jewellery Team.

Q: How do you say “AMAZING!” in Portuguese??? A: “Supreendente!” I have been saying this since I saw our new arrival to the store... a 19ct gold Portuguese buckle ring with 4 cabochon cut pink sapphires from the early 1900s! Come in and try it on, because it really is “surpreendente!” @ Blackheath Jewellery in Leura

When people talk about job perks, you think; traveling and paid days off, right? Not us. Our job perks take the cake, because we are lucky enough to witness LOVE in its purest form and be a part of that special moment when two people agree to spend the rest of their lives together. Thank you Michael and Deb… for letting us share that beautiful moment with you!

Elizabeth Taylor once said: “Jewelry has the power to be the one little thing that makes you feel unique.” That is definitely true when you look at our 8.50 ct Tourmaline ring with its diamond studded shoulders. It will make you stand out from the crowd and then some!

Our newest acquisition, a 1930s Jade ring in platinum has inspired a history lesson today: Did you know Jade has been around for thousands of years? It was cherished by the Chinese, who associated it with clarity of mind and purity of spirit. It became a form of art for the indigenous societies in New Zealand and North America and was used for medicinal purposes by the Mayans and Aztecs. Excerpt from the GIA website:... ’The name jade comes from the Spanish expression - piedra de ijada - literally “stone of the pain in the side.” Early Spanish explorers named it after they saw natives holding pieces of the stone to their sides to cure or relieve various aches and pains. In store now!

Yes! A thousand times, Yes!… Is what I would say if a very special someone asked me to marry them with this Art Deco beauty! Soon to be hitting the window at our store in Leura! But be warned: once it does it won’t last long...

The epitome of Art Deco design! With a stunning bezel set Emerald in the centre, 42 Diamonds circling it and Platinum encasing them together, this ring… like a certain pair of ruby slippers I know… could have the potential to transport you to another time and place…

✨ CARTIER ✨ What a magnificent exhibition! Highlights from our day at the National Gallery of Australia. @ National Gallery of Australia, Canberra

I can’t help but post about these fabulous Cartier cases from the exhibition. Originally used as vanity cases, cigarette cases and compacts, today they can have a multitude of uses including business cards or pill boxes. You have to be quick though! One of our astute collectors has already snapped up our original 1950s Cartier compact that we just recently acquired 💃🏼

The ‘Buckle’ Ring was a symbol of authority and protection and was made popular by Queen Victoria who wore one as her wedding band. In store, we have some stunning examples of this symbolic design. A couple plain, one engraved and one embellished with a rare orange diamond. Whether they are from the Victorian times, Edwardian period or the 1920s, these buckle rings are a versatile and elegant way to adorn any hand. @ Blackheath Jewellery in Leura
