Great local bike shop with competitive pricing. Customer service could have been a little bit better.

Have been in store and called up may times and they are always helpfull.

Wes gave fantastic service helping to pick the right bike and size for my son!! Can't recommend these guys enough!!!

Had to replace two tubes for my bike so I purchased thorn resistant tubes and had them fitted in store. Two days later I discovered that both my tubes had become flat and when I tired to inflate them it was clear that air was escaping. I went back into the store to explain to them what had happened and I was told that even though I had paid for the tubes and installation that there is nothing they can do and that if I want new tubes I need to pay for new ones. The young worker clearly had no customer service experience and it wasn't until a senior worker sorted the situation out that we discovered that the wrong tubes had been fitted. Credit to the senior working for sorting out the situation and replacing my tubes free of charge. It's unfortunate that the young worker has no idea about customer service.

The owner of this store is an absolute gentleman. He went above and beyond to help me with my bike needs. And all on a handshake! "My mother and father taught me that there is only YES or NO there is no such thing as excuses" Graham Blackman. I am a local and I have been to all other bike shops in the area and this is by far THE BEST!! They have a wide variety of bikez and accessories and the customer service is exceptional. Love your work guyz! Thank you for being so patient and accommodating. I look forward to my next visit ☺

I've visited this shop whilst on a ride from Homebush with my friend. We were both greeted by Ben to bring our bikes in whilst we were trying to chain our bikes outside. Ben is a very talented sales staff member with plenty of knowledge about most of the items in the shop. I was almost tempted to buy another dual suspension because of this young enthusiastic fella. Our visit was extended because of the size of the shop with a wide range and quality of the items most local shops don't carry much of or don't have stock. Our visit was pleasant until one of the older gent was brave enough to make a joke out of my friends bike. To be honest you would imagine a sales staff member who lives off reputation and sales made off customers to be more wise in making such comments. The older gent was unprofessional in making a joke of my friends ("customer") bike and made a fool of himself in front of other customers. Ben if you see this, let me know how you go at this shop. I will be back to buy the best dual suspension bike from you if you're still at Blackman Bicycles at this store by the end of this year or next year. I'll let you know if I decide to make purchase any earlier.

Walked into the store with a co worker of mine first thing in the morning on a week day there was no one else in the store besides from the owner behind the register and the worker who served me.
I politely extended my hand to greet him and introduced myself and my co worker when i asked him for his name and where it was from he replied with...

"whats the spill mate, its too early in the morning for this" followed by a blank look.

He was implying that i was a sales worker.
I work in customer service and even if i was a selling something which i clearly wasn't anyone who walks into your store is a potential client, mate first impressions count and i was disgusted in the behaviour what made it worse was the owner didn't even say a word instead putting his head down.
I laughed nervously and said mate i just thoughts id come in to buy a bike for my Mrs who is recovering from an ACL injury.

after 5 mins of being there i walked out and bought a bike from a store around the corner happily spending more for a better product.

Its a real shame i use to race bikes competitively for 5 years and went back to blackman where i bought my gear from prior but never again. sorry guys but you lost me.

Want to write couple words about Graeme since I've seen some bad comments into his address. He is the most qualified guy in Sydney 's shops in my opinion (I visited 3 shops here). He is oriented not for just sale but for help to find specific bike which is designed for your needs.

This shop absolutely disgusts me. I went in today to look for cycling apparel. I repeated several times to the shop assistant that I am a size medium and asked for specific items in that size. The shop assistant kept pulling out the wrong sizes, such as large or extra large, tights and jackets and holding them up against me so his hands were touching me. This is totally unnecessary and unprofessional and I told him he was too close and should respect my personal space. He had the really condescending and sexist air of a a man that thinks that he has the right to treat women like that. On top of that, he also asked me where I live. When I told him to take his hands of me, he got offended and walked off loudly repeating what I had said to the whole shop. The other shop assistants there didn't seem at all bothered by it. Management needs to take this man aside and explain to him what's appropriate and what's not. I will never set foot there again, there are other places to get cycle gear, and I wouldn't recommend shopping there. I have been cycling for many years and never had a similar experience in any bike shop. Unfortunately it's not possible to give zero stars!

Rude and arrogant customer service at parramatta store. Went to purchase bike accessories and was insulted by the manager by the name of Graham Blackman. Ended up going to a different store to purchase what i need.
Graham Blackman is the worst person to deal with. Complete stuck up and know it all attitude.
Definitely do not recommend any one to purchase from them.

Will not use or recommend again
Great service and helpful for sales.got the right bike ,owner spend time with me, so I did not mind paying a premium on bike and accessories which I pointed out to Graham only problem I needed a side stand, which I paid for and he picked he told me to charge headlight as they have not done it properly Next day led headlights won't charge, rang store made to feel like a idiot, told must be charging wrong try different charger etc give another 12 hours, Still no go rang told
Must come to Parrmatta not to a closer store ,I told staff owner fitted stand but to close to disc they spoke to owner and staff said if problem bring the light and stand back, following day I returned . Boss not in staff spent long time trying to get light to charge in end they not to happy but replaced
it, when I asked about returning $25 undamaged and unused stand which they fitted, which we discussed on phone staff. said boss said no return ,I spoke to them but staff and boss did not care and happy to have sold bike and now loss customer over $25.
I latter spoke on phone to owner but he did not see my way and did not give a hoot about all the problems for a lousy $25

5 Star Service. Can't recommend the store and the staff highly enough. Reminds me of my "local" bike shop when I was a kid. Don't even bother considering going anywhere else.

A fantastic place to purchase a variety of bicycles and accessories. Customer service was friendly and helpful - very knowledgable. Would recommend to anyone looking to purchase any type of bike from beginners to pro's.

Brilliant Customer service from your employee Blake, very knowledgeable on sizing of bikes, very polite when providing me with tips on how to ride. Plus showed me how to fix popped tire giving me pointers and demonstrating how to do so!! You're a champion mate!

Very irritated. Left my bike a week ago for repairs, nothing has been done. Going to fetch it tmw and take it somewhere else.

Recived excellent customer service from Blake...he very patiently showed me how to take my tyre off the rim and back on and other tips....

Always heading into the shop with broken bits an bike parts from my on an offroad bikes. Many times turned the shop upside down to help me out an always walking away with someone to keep me going. Cheers 😀

Very bad customer service and rude people.
I first asked how much my bike will cost they told me 40$ and when i came back to take it they charged me 60$ and denied that they told me it was 40. Plus the guy there speaks to you in an aggressive manner.

Sent bike in for service came back with chain covered in a black oil and also with a new noise that wasnt there before i sent it in. Took bike back and was told it should go away after a while which it hasnt and now a couple weeks after service my chain is covered in black gunk from all the dust that has stuck on to the oil. Bike was not cleaned and was covered in greasy finger prints. Waste of time and money

being a shy person and also not knowing much about bikes i rang up and asked a few questions and i expected to be told to come into the shop but i was given the advice needed over the phone and ordered the part over the phone and when i went in to pick it up the staf were friendly and helpful again

Have been going to this shop for yrs, they look after my ride and are very fair with there pricing.

I can see now that this was wrong and hope that you can forgive me for any discomfort this has brought upon you. After speaking to you, it is quite obvious that you appear to be a very honest businessman only wishing to help others whenever possible. I feel sure that your business practice is nothing less than the credit it deserves when it comes to loyalty and support to all cyclists in the Western Suburbs.
