Bluefin Custom Fishing Boat Hire.

UPDATE RE SQUID IN THE HARBOUR: (24/9/18).
I had a group of great guys who have hired the boat off me before go out on the weekend to chase some Harbour Kingies. Unfortunately they didn't do as well as they would have liked on that front but I was however most interested in both the Great squid that they caught in preparation and Where they actually did so....
Now I am a bit of a creature of habit I suppose and tend to focus on the Northern side myself (not that I get to use... my own boat very much) 😊. However the boys went over to the South side at the Southern end of the beach next to Watto Bay and fished the atypical looking senario of where beach/sand meets the rocks and cast in towards them. (Moored up on the 'outside' of the yellow swimmer marker buoys of course).... They used your tried and true - cast, lift and drop, type slow retrieve, with the odd twitch or two on the pause. Absolutely nothing wrong with that. 👍.
What really caught my attention however was when I later asked "How many"? They said. 'Basically as many as you wanted too but we just kept enough for the four of us to use a mix of fresh strip baits and some whole live ones for the arvo' - Which for their purposes was 8 in total.... Not only were they an absolutely perfect mix of both 'top bait' and 'please eat me yourself' sizes - Every single one of them seen, caught, kept, or released, were all A Grade true Calamari Squid....
So they're there to be found. They are in good numbers and sizes. And are the best possible quality available for either - Even more fishing. Or just as a great feed in themselves. Now you gotta be happy about that.👍👍👍. * I'm kinda also very, very happy that they won't now be closing Camp Cove - Or else this would be an update for some Ancient History Page rather than a Current Fishing one available to All.... 😊.

Let's just all hope, pray, and lobby, that we are not to be locked out of such prolific spots in the very near future.! Remember to have your say as every single voice counts, be sure to attend both the march and your closest meetings as every person counts.

One of the things that I have always personally enjoyed the most about fishing is that it is an activity that comes without any social boundaries and discriminations - It really is an activity where all men and women are truly equals.... I have fished the great lakes of Tasmania with a truck driver on one side of me, and a former prime minister on the other. I have pro guided out of Cape York with a coal miner on one side of me and a high court judge on the other.... There was no 'who's who' or 'who does what for whom' and we all got on together like a house on fire - for at the end of the day we were all just a few guys having a fish and that was it. I have often called fishing 'the world's greatest equaliser' as it truly is... What's more. There's not a fish in the sea that cares about 'what' you do with yourself, nor Who's hanging on to the other end of the line. 😊.

TOO MANY FRIENDS....
It would appear that we have become somewhat more popular than initially expected in a very short space of time and have now reached our maximum 5,000 friends limit as dictated by Facebook. How One can have 'too many' friends on a business page is beyond me... but that is how it is and there is nothing that can be done about it.
... My sincere apologies to those who have sent friend requests but have not been accepted, as it is not for lack of desire but rather because of the inability to do so.
