This place is a great place for breakfast. Good prices, fantastic food.

Banana smoothie underwhelming - small for price and not thick. Ice cream an expense Bluewater clearly not willing to spend on their customers.
Wait staff poor. Requested cutlery & water, met with a curt ‘yep’ then 10 minutes later, still with no return, fetched ourselves from nearby table.
Pulled pork burger so sickly sweet it was inedible. Drowned in BBQ sauce. When advised staff upon paying bill, acknowledged with an ‘oh’ ....then simple requested we pay the entire bill, even though a complete burger with 2 bites taken from it sat on our plate.
Bluewater must think there is no competition around here so they can have such pathetic service and fare....they are wrong. No return visit here PLUS future warning to anyone we know thinking of visiting manly to avoid.

The lunch special pan fried Barra was ccooked to perfection. Great value at $20 a plate with generous serving of chips and greek salad.

Great service and great food!! Terrible decaf coffee tho.

Nice location for the outdoor area with a view towards the beach. However, staff was not very responsive and quite slow. Natural oysters were sadly warm, with shell bits inside. Crispy squid was good.

Bad for gluten free - they misinformed us.

Note: the vegan pattie on their burger has gluten in it.

Nice easy menu. Casual and relaxed atmosphere. Friendly staff. Great value for money given the location!

This morning my friends and I went to the Blue water cafe and were not at all happy with the experience. Firstly, the food was average at best, I had the peach with granola, which was with three tiny pieces of tinned peaches and granola drowning in room temperature milk. The thing that really made it a bad experience was the service, we were greeted by an unhappy waitress would who simple said "sit where you want", while our order was being taken by a second waitress she did not once smile or give any greeting. Lastly, once we had finished our meal we waited for 25 minutes and our plates were still not cleared up even though the restaurant wasn't at all busy. Once we gave up and went to the register to pay we were treated once again we an unhappy waitress. We were glad to leave and will not be returning.

We had the benefit of eating at Bluewater Cafe in frequent intervals. Whilst maybe three weeks had passed, we went from having a great experience to a less than average one. Our first time around was met with generous portions in all three courses. The same cannot be said for our most recent time around. Luckily for us, we were using First Table so the cost didn't hit us so hard. But for sake of useful comparison I'll refer to the full price. We ordered the bruschetta again for an entree as we had loved it the first time. We were expecting three large pieces of sourdough practically overflowing with a number of different toppings. Unfortunately this time there were three tiny slices of French baguette. One of the toppings was great (fig, prosciutto and a balsamic reduction), one of them was average (tomato, basil and feta cheese) and the other was just disappointing (sliced truss tomato, salami and cream cheese). The wings were also underwhelming. The promise of spicy BBQ wings was irresistible. But the $18 price tag was cause for reluctance. So when 6 chicken wings came out with some celery sticks and no dipping sauce, I was less than impressed. The marinade was nice but the spicy flavour that the menu promised was absent. I found it odd to serve chicken wings and celery sticks without some kind of sauce on the side. For that price, a ranch or blue cheese sauce would have been standard. An aioli at the very least. We were hoping for a better main and I was happy. My pulled pork burger was succulent with a complex BBQ flavour. The tangy coleslaw provided some balance to the dish. It was a delicious meal. My partner, on the other hand, was served a very rare steak when she ordered medium rare. When we mentioned it to one of the staff they were very polite, very apologetic and promised a new steak. They brought it out quickly and it was absolutely perfect. They also offered us a drink on the house as compensation. The service at Bluewater was fantastic. It's just unfortunate that the average food was served with a hefty price.

I always enjoy eating at Bluewater Cafe. The food is lovely with lots of healthy, tasty options and the service is excellent. The staff are friendly and patient - we generally talk too much and take a long time to read the menu, but the wait staff never rush us. Very relaxing dining with beautiful Manly beach just outside.

Dont let the setting fool you. Iced chocolate was very milky and not very cold. The fish and chips were inproportional to the price and not very good, and the calamari was overcooked, tough, and tasteless.

Came for breakfast right on 11:30 and was happily served. Food was delicious. I ordered the "Ocean Breakfast" which did not disappoint. Beatiful spot across from the water.

Busy spot with great views of the beach. Food and coffee is good but do be prepared to wait a little when it crowds up
