Established in 1963, Cabrini is a state-of-the-art aged care facility. Now in its fourth generation, the family business has developed from a humble 61 bed nursing home to a 120 bed five-star hotel style facility allowing Cabrini to perfectly blend quality nursing care with a rich and fulfilling lifestyle for residents.

Inspired by Mother Cabrini’s selfless dedication to helping others, Cabrini Care Founder Joy Harris named the facility after the Italian-born founder of the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Cabrini consists of 99 mainstream beds and a 21 Secure Dementia Unit architecturally designed to maximise space and light to provide a homely welcoming environment. Every room at Cabrini is modern, comfortable and so welcoming that it will instantly feel like home. All rooms boast award winning Völker beds. Electronic height adjustments, backrest and knee bend options mean these Porsche-engineered beds offer the ultimate in patient well-being. Rooms at Cabrini are designed with privacy, comfort and modern living in mind. Every room has ample natural light, fresh air and single rooms offer spacious window seating for visiting family and friends.

Cabrini continuously strives to be up to date with the modern technological advances in the Health Care industry. Built on a platform of technology through an IT Care System and a digital driven cleaning and maintenance system, we have also implemented an easy-to-use emergency nurse call system called Vocera to ensure communication throughout the building. This with enhance the quality of clinical care oversighted by 24hour Registered Nurse’s.

The concept of wellness goes beyond the physical at Cabrini. We are aware that the overall health of a resident can be impacted by loneliness, boredom and helplessness as well as physical ailments. That’s why our approach creates a loving, fun-filled and stimulating environment where everyone can find meaning and joy in every day. Cabrini’s on-site hairdresser offers a range of hair and beauty services not only to the residents but also family members, staff and public.
Cabrini manages a continuum of care in close conjunction with the Palliative Care team at Westmead Hospital. Our on-site Pastoral Care staff are available 3 days a week to provide ongoing emotional and spiritual support residents, family members and staff.
