Books Kinokuniya

Prices can be lower or higher than other stores but there's a wonderful variety of books. I love spending time there, it's a pleasure to purchase there. Large windows with plenty of sunlight and lovely views, my favourite bookstore.

Oh, this glorious store! I just love it. I visited regularly when I lived in Sydney and now make a point to return on every visit back. The range is just staggering, especially when it comes to art and design books. I consider it a feat of supernatural strength that I left this time without buying one or more recipe books; they have a huge number and they're ordered so well (by region, by style of cooking, etc).
And then there's the stationery... I come for my fix of Uniball pens in multiple colours but again, that's restricting myself. You can get almost anything here, including gorgeous wrapping papers and a wide range of fun cards. Simply love this store.

Great selection of books and almost every book I wanted to read was available for purchase. Cosy, large store with seats and a cafe adjacent to it. Easily accessible from the station. Prices aren't always competitive.

Always love visiting this store but go too rarely! The only bookstore worth browsing in, so well-stocked and full of beautiful surprises, including new books from my favourite Japanese authors well before anyone else has them (and that includes online). Part of what has become little Japan in Sydney.

I come here often, and I always have a good experience. The staff is very friendly and it's an awesome place to buy stuff you can't normally find in other shops. Can be pricey sometimes though.

Good store with everything you need. The only reason I give it a 4 star is just because it is a bit pricey

Great selection of books, but sometimes too hard to find staff members to help. Also, hard nto explore and find things yourself due to the sheer volume but also the cataloguing system

Easily one of my favorite bookstores. The only real downside is the prices which are okay for a bookstore but I know I can get much cheaper online. The product range is great, they stock a lot of books (particularly manga) which other stores don't. The service lacks a little. You can tell the staff aren't really keen for a conversation but the best thing is they don't come up and bother you while browsing.

Don't come across that many bookstores now a days. They have a great selection, but hard to find anyone if you need something.

a great place to spend your time as it has lovely selections of books and other supplies. it is peaceful without being dead quiet and the staff seem friendly enough. definitely worth checking out.

The best selection of Japanese and English books you will find under the one roof. Also an interesting selection of pens and knick knacks you can spend hours going through.

This is an absolutely enormous book store. There are so many books here! I come here often to enjoy the huge variety of design and architecture books avaliable here. I have friends that come here often for anime and asian books, it's a great place to go book shopping.
