Bowral & District Hospital

I realise that this is a public hospital, but reading the reviews on the internet gave me an impression that it was a nice enough facility & staff. Well, I couldn't be more wrong. The absolute rudeness and hostility of the staff astounded me, from the receptionist at the emergency desk to the nursing staff in the maternity unit. Rest assured, I will be contacting the patient liaison officer, relevant managers and anyone else who is in charge of training these staff memebers. I am so disappointed and dismayed that I was treated like this at one of the most stressful times in my life.

Staff had better get some training on dealing with patients/relatives/the public or else this entire incident (and specifics) will go public, of that I can assure you.

Better than any private hospital I've been to. The staff were all nice and treated me like a person and not a number. Couldn't have a had a better visit to the hospital.

Professional and caring staff at this hospital especially in the short stay ward and Milton Park ward.

Great care and treatment also from Theatre and my treating Dr Vera Kinzel.

My husband was taken to the emergency room on 3rd May with heart problems. He was treated with care and respect at all times. I was kept up to date as to what was happening. He was then transferred to CCU, where, again he was treated with the utmost care. The nurses and staff were wonderful and I thank them wholeheartedly. My husband is now home and doing well thanks to this hospital....

I was born here in 1980, so it's pretty good. But I'm biased :)
