Brazilian Aid is a community group focused to increase volunteering opportunities for individuals and organizations, spreading sense of belonging and multiculturalism. Immigrants have always been a fundamental part of Australia's community and economy and we promote, through our leadership and collaboration, to increase the early engagement of immigrants with the broad Australian community. Brazilian Aid was founded with the objective of facilitating the participation of the Brazilian community on the Bushfire recovery and in supporting the affected families and community. In this action we mobilized over 250 volunteers that worked in partnership with Blaze Aid, Animal Sanctuaries and Food Bank. We believe in community values and how this is beneficial to both those who help and those who receive help. The sense of belonging and empowerment we feel when getting involved with the community is real and important, and we will keep helping the migrant community to make this connection.
