Resilience is super important for all of us, particularly for our children and the online environments that our children are now subjected to. In fact, Peer Support Australia has separate modules in their program that specifically look at Resilience.

I am looking for my friend! I was left behind on Monday afternoon. I'm really enjoying reading all these books......but i am really missing my cuddles!!

Do you have a Primary aged child who LOVES writing stories? Dymocks books and Pan Macmilan have a wonderful writing competition. All you have to do is write a 400 word story with the theme of "Living in a Treehouse". A great activity for the end of holidays! Entries close the 1st of October 2018.

We often forget when our children are struggling at school that it could be any number of things impacting on their understanding. It could be their eye sight, it could be a visual perception issue, it could be an undiagnosed learning difficulty or a number of other issues. One thing we often over look is hearing. We underestimate how our hearing can affect our learning. It is important to remember that we have a whole range of puzzle pieces to address when looking at learning, which is what we aim to address at Breakaway Tuition.
