Brezitela Description

Bezitella is a new business located at Westfield Sydney CBD on Pittstreet. Presenting Sydney the Piaggio Ape transformed into a mobile Brezel car it will supply Sydney siders with fresh Brezel and other sweet and savory treats.
The Name "Brezitella" is the old German version of Brezel. The history of the Brezel and its origin is yet not clear. Some say the Italians invented it as a treat for kids when they finished there prayers, some say Pretzels were hidden on Easter morning just as eggs are hidden today, and are particularly associated with Lent, fasting, and prayers before Easter. It is a twisted story but we don't really care who claims credit on the invention, we just want to enjoy.
The story of the Ape Car is not a long and twisted as the Brezel ones but surely as interesting. At the end of World War II, most Italians, badly affected by the war, lacked means of transport and, more importantly, the financial means to acquire and maintain full-sized four-wheeled vehicles. In 1947, the inventor of the Vespa, aircraft designer Corradino D'Ascanio, came up with the idea of building a light three-wheeled commercial vehicle to power Italy's economical reconstruction.
